Whenever I take a Bath, I love to set the Mood by first burning some kind of Candle or Wax Melt in my Bathroom to compliment whatever Bath Bomb, Bath Oil or Bubble Bar that i’ve decided to use in my Bath. That’s why when the guys over at Lush very kindly asked me if I would like to try some of their Candle range that contains three delicious smelling Candles in some of their most loved scents, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been burning them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what Lush say about all three delicious smelling Candles.
The Orange Blossom Candle.
A golden floral, Citrus glow.

It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Rapeseed Wax, Coconut Oil, Coconut Wax, Castor Wax, Orange Flower Absolute, Bergamot Oil, and Lebanese Neroli Oil, I thought that it had a very subtile fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly grassy Orange Blossom scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk past an Orange Tree on a balmy Spring Afternoon.
It’s scent throw.
I really liked it’s scent throw, as this managed to fill my entire Room with it’s very subtile fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly grassy Orange Blossom scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.
It’s burn time.
It said that you were supposed to get up to 15 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my Wick trimmed, I easily got at least 20 hours of very subtile fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly grassy Orange Blossom scent out of it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Frosted Glass Jar that looked beautiful sat on my Bedside Cabinet.

It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Rapeseed Wax, Coconut Oil, Coconut Wax, Castor Wax, Lavender Absolute, and Ylang Ylang Oil, I thought that it had a very subtile sweet and medicinal yet ever so slightly creamy Lavender scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk into a Spa to get a Massage.

I was actually very disappointed by it’s scent throw, because unless I was walking past where I had placed it or had moved it to directly in front of where I was sitting, I unfortunately couldn’t really smell anything.

My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Orange Blossom Candle an eight out of ten, the Lush Sleepy Candle an eight out of ten, and the Lush The Olive Branch Candle a seven out of ten. I really liked the Lush Orange Blossom Candle, as I absolutely loved it’s very subtile fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly grassy Orange Blossom scent, it’s scent throw, it’s burn time, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit stronger. I also wish that it had been a little bit cheaper, as I unfortunately just can’t justify spending £12 on what is essentially a Votive Candle. I really liked the Lush Sleepy Candle, as I absolutely loved it’s very subtile sweet and medicinal yet ever so slightly creamy Lavender scent, it’s scent throw, it’s burn time, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit stronger. I also wish that it had been a little bit cheaper, as I unfortunately just can’t justify spending £12 on what is essentially a Votive Candle.
