Whether it’s the All The Wild Things Soap, the Charity Pot Coin Hand & Body Lotion, or the TBH 365 Bath Bomb , I absolutely love that Lush is always trying to help raise Awareness and Money for various different worthwhile Causes and Charities around the World. That’s why when I had heard that they had released an Orangutan Bath Bomb with all of the proceeds going towards helping to preserve the West Toba Forest, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and pick one up. Well I finally used it the other night, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Fragrance, Black Pepper Oil, Dark Sumatran Patchouli Oil, Vanilla Absolute, Kukui Nut Oil, Water, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Dipropylene Glycol, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 47005:1, Colour 15510, Colour 19140, and Colour 14700, I thought that it had a delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly creamy Patchouli scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk into an Incense Store.
What it did when I used it.
I absolutely loved what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of gorgeous bright Yellow all over the surface of the Water that eventually turned my entire Bath a gorgeous bright Yellow colour, and then after a couple more seconds it also started to release streams of beautiful bright Red all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the gorgeous bright Yellow to turn my entire Bath a stunning vibrant bright Orange colour. I also really liked that once it had finally finished fizzing, that it also released a little piece of Banana Paper with a QR Code on it that directed me to a Playlist where I could listen to some of the sounds of the Sumatran Rain Forest whilst I was in the Bath.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly creamy Patchouli for hours after I had used it.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Orangutan Bath Bomb a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly creamy Patchouli scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had been a little bit bigger. I also wish that they had just put a link to the Sounds of the Rainforest Playlist on their Website rather than putting it on a piece of Banana Paper inside the Bath Bomb, as when you’re Visually Impaired, trying to fish a piece of Paper out of a roaring hot Bath is kind of a disaster waiting to happen.
