Even though quite a lot of people weren’t a massive fan of Lush’s Candle range, I actually really liked it and was really disappointed when they discontinued it, especially their Avobath Candle. That’s why when they very kindly asked me if I would like to try some of their x Community Single Wick Candle 2024 range that contains four limited edition Candles that have all been chosen by the Lush Discord Community, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been burning them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Coconut Oil, Castor Oil, Jasmine Absolute, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Lime Oil, Sandalwood Oil, Tonka Absolute, Ylang Ylang Absolute, Citral, Coumarin, Ethyl Methylphenylglycidate, Hydroxycitronellol, Linalool, Linalyl Acetate, Alpha-Iso-Methylionone, and Dl-Limonene, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly zesty and woody Jasmine, Lemon and Sandalwood scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk past a Lush Store on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.
It’s scent throw.
I was actually a little bit disappointed by it’s scent throw, as even though it smelt incredibly strong in it’s Tin, this was unfortunately one of those scents that I only really noticed once I had gone out of and had come back into the Room again.
It’s burn time.
It said that you were supposed to get up to 35 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my Wick trimmed, I easily got at least 40 hours of delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly zesty and woody Jasmine, Lemon and Sandalwood scent out of it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Metal Tin with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Candle Shelf.

It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Coconut Oil, Castor Oil, Brazilian Orange Oil, Bergamot Oil, Acetyl Propionyl, Cyclopentadecanolide, Geraniol, Linalool, Linalyl Acetate, Dl-Citronellol, and Dl-Limonene, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly fruity Honey scent to it that kind of reminded me of eating a piece of Toast smothered in some locally sourced Honey.
It’s scent throw.
I was actually a little bit disappointed by it’s scent throw, as even though it smelt incredibly strong in it’s Tin, this was unfortunately one of those scents that I only really noticed once I had gone out of and had come back into the Room again.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Coconut Oil, Castor Oil, Almond Oil, Benzoin Resinoid, Cinnamon Leaf Oil, Clove Leaf Oil, Lime Oil, Brazilian Orange Oil, Patchouli Oil, Iso-eugenol, Myrrh Resinoid, Alpha-Pinee, Beta-Caryophyllene, and Dl-Limonene, I thought that it had a delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly zesty Hot Toddy scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Mug of Hot Toddy on a freezing cold Winter’s Night.
It’s scent throw.
I really liked it’s scent throw, as this managed to fill my Room and the entire top floor of my House with it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly zesty Hot Toddy scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.
It’s burn time.
It said that you were supposed to get up to 35 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my Wick trimmed, I easily got at least 45 hours of delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly zesty Hot Toddy scent out of it.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Coconut Oil, Castor Oil, Peppermint Oil, Grapefruit Oil, Vetivert Oil, Cedarwood Oil, Eucalyptol, Linalool, Limalyl Acetate, Methyl Atrarate, Dl-Isomenthone, and Di-Limonene, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly zesty Peppermint scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Packet of Peppermint Chewing Gum.
It’s scent throw.
I really liked it’s scent throw, as this managed to fill my Room and the entire top floor of my House with it’s delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly zesty Peppermint scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.

My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush 29 High Street Single Wick Candle a seven out of ten, the Lush Honey I Washed The Kids Single Wick Candle a seven point five out of ten, the Lush Hot Toddy Single Wick Candle a nine out of ten, and the Lush Intergalactic Single Wick Candle an eight point five out of ten. I really liked the Lush 29 High Street Single Wick Candle, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly zesty and woody Jasmine, Lemon and Sandalwood scent, it’s burn time, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it’s scent throw had been a lot stronger. I really liked the Lush Honey I Washed The Kids Single Wick Candle, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly fruity Honey scent, it’s burn time, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it’s scent throw had been a lot stronger. I really liked the Lush Hot Toddy Single Wick Candle, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly zesty Hot Toddy scent, it’s scent throw, it’s burn time, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush Intergalactic Single Wick Candle, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly zesty Peppermint scent, it’s scent throw, it’s burn time, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Grapefruit.
