For When They Placed It On His Head, He Began To Dance Around | Lush Christmas 2023 Range | Face Care & Lip Care

Even though I always look forward to checking out all of the Lush Christmas range, I especially look forward to seeing what cool and quirky extras they release, like their Lip Balms, Lip Scrubs, and Skincare. That’s why when I went to Lush White Rose a couple of weeks ago to check out all of their Christmas 2023 range, I obviously had to stop by their Lip Care and Skincare Department to check out all of their delicious smelling and tasting Christmas Lip Butters, Lip Scrubs, and Sheet Masks. Well after checking everything out, I eventually picked up a Tube of Candy Cane Lip Butter, a Jar of Gingerbread Lip Scrub, and a Snowman Sheet Mask, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all three amazing products.

The Candy Cane Lip Butter.

It’s taste.

I absolutely loved it’s taste, as even though it contained Organic Castor Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Glycerine, Sunflower Wax, Candelilla Wax, Organic Shea Butter, Flavour, Peppermint Oil, Stevia, Limonene, and Colour 45410:2, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and minty yet ever so slightly creamy Peppermint taste to it that kind of reminded me of eating a Candy Cane on a freezing cold Winter’s Night.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to swipe a little bit of it across my Lips, it started to ever so slightly melt and release lots of incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Lip Butter all over my Lips that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Lips feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left them looking much healthier and tasting of delicious sweet and minty yet ever so slightly creamy Peppermint for at least ten minutes after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical twist up Plastic Tube with a screw top Lid that fitted really easily into my Pocket.

A medium circular puddle of some golden brown Lip Scrub that has some pieces of Castor Sugar, Granulated Sugar and Fine Sea Salt running through it, on a white background.

It’s taste.

I really liked it’s taste, as even though it contained Castor Sugar, Organic Jojoba Oil, Granulated Sugar, Fair Trade Shea Butter, Fine Sea Salt, Bergamot Oil, Cinnamon Leaf Oil, Carob Resinoid, Ginger Oil, Benzoinm Resinoid, Cocoa Powder, Titanium Dioxide,Gardenia Extract, Benzyl Benzoate, Cinnamal, Citral, Eugenol, Limonene, Linalool, and Flavour, I thought that it had a delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly sweet Ginger scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Mug of Ginger Tea on a freezing cold Winter’s Night.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had scooped a little bit of it out of it’s Jar and had started to rub it against my Lips, it started to release lots of little shards of oily Castor Sugar, Granulated Sugar and Fine Sea Salt all over my Lips that eventually dissolved into a thin and buttery Lip Balm that set within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Lips feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left them tasting of delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly sweet Ginger for at least ten minutes after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked its packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Glass Jar with a matte Plastic screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

A large circular bright white snowman’s head shaped block of Shower Jelly that has a bright orange carrot nose engraved on it and some Eye holes, a nose hole, and a mouth hole cut out of it, on a white background.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Ginseng Root Infusion, Glycerine, Calamine Powder, Carrageenan Extract, Water, Fine Oatmeal, Cedarwood Oil, Cinnamon Leaf Oil, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Almond Essential Oil, Cardamom Absolute, Vanilla Absolute, Paprika Oleoresin, Benzyl Benzoate, Citral, Eugenol, Limonene, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a delicious deep and smokey yet ever so slightly spicy Cedarwood scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had soaked an entire Packet of Cola Bottle Sweets in some Cedarwood Oil.

It’s material.

I really liked its material, as this was made out of an incredibly thick and rubbery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Carrageenan Jelly that felt really soft against my Skin and didn’t rip when I tried to remove it from it’s packaging.

Its size.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s size, as even though I didn’t have to stretch it around the Forehead or Chin areas like some of the other Hydrogel Sheet Masks that i’ve tried in the past, because of it’s cool and quirky Snowman Face shape, I found that it had quite a lot of overhanging material that felt really heavy against my Skin.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had finally managed to remove it from it’s packaging and had smoothed it across my Face, it very slowly moulded itself to my Face and ever so slowly release little droplets of Ginseng Root Extract, Glycerine and Water all over my Skin that helped to securely stick the massive piece of really thick and rubbery Carrageenan Extract to my Face.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, refreshed, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, a little bit brighter and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came rolled up inside a massive piece of Biodegradable Plastic that kept the Mask really fresh until I was ready to use it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Candy Cane Lip Butter a nine out of ten, the Lush Gingerbread Lip Scrub an eight out of ten, and the Lush Snowman Sheet Mask an eight point five out of ten. I really liked the Lush Candy Cane Lip Butter, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and minty yet ever so slightly creamy Peppermint taste, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had contained a little bit of Menthol Crystals to give my Lips a little bit of a tingling and plumping sensation when I used it. I really liked the Lush Gingerbread Lip Scrub, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly sweet Gingerbread taste, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had actually tasted of Gingerbread. I really liked the Lush Snowman Sheet Mask, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and smokey yet ever so slightly spicy Cedarwood scent, it’s material, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of how heavy on my Skin it’s material felt when I used it.
