They Were Singing, Bah Humbug, Bah Humbug, Bah Humbug! | Lush Christmas 2025 Range | Body Care, Shower Gel & Soap

I don’t know if it’s because I find it the quickest and easiest way to warm myself up on a freezing cold Winter’s Day, but I tend to take a lot more Showers during Winter than I do Baths. That’s why when I was very kindly invited down to Lush White Rose a couple of weeks ago to celebrate the launch of their Christmas 2025 range, I obviously had to stop by their Body Care, Shower Gel and Soap Department to check out all of their delicious smelling Christmas Body Care, Shower Gels and Soaps. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Bottle of Celebrate Body Lotion, a Tub of Celebrate Dusting Powder, a Bottle of Golden Pear Shower Gel, a Humbug Scrubee Body Scrub, a Bottle of Merry Christmas Everyone Shower Gel, and a Block of Wreath Soap, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all six delicious smelling products.

The Lush Celebrate Body Lotion.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water), Almond Oil, Glycerine, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Stearic Acid, Illipe Butter, Triethanolamine, Brazilian Orange Oil, Lime Oil, Orange Flower Absolute, Tincture of Benzoin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Citral, Citronellol, Farnesol, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Bucks Fizz on Christmas Morning.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body lotion, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Body Cream rather than a thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Body Lotion.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Body Cream into a thin and oily yet ever so slightly gelatinous Body Lotion that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, refreshed, plump, bouncy, hydrated an intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly zesty Orange for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Clear Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

A medium circular pile of some creamy white powder, on a white background.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Tapioca Starch, Cornstarch, Babassu Flour, Calamine Powder, Sodium Bicarbonate, Limonene, Fragrance, Brazilian Orange Oil, Lime Oil, Fair Trade Organic Aloe Vera Powder, Titanium Dioxide, Tin Oxide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Citral, Citronellol, Geraniol, Linalool, Colour 77491, Colour 19140:1, and Colour 19140, I thought that it had a very subtile fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly powdery Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Box of some Orange scented Washing Powder.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Dusting Powder, I thought that it felt incredibly fine and soft yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly fine and soft yet ever so slightly creamy Talcum Powder rather than a fine and crumbly yet ever so slightly soft Dusting Powder.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had shaken a little bit of it out of it’s Bottle and had started to press it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly fine and soft yet ever so slightly creamy Talcum Powder into a fine and soft yet ever so slightly dry Dusting Powder that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely shimmery, much healthier and smelling of very subtile fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly powdery Orange for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a short and wide Cardboard Bottle with a Sprinkle Applicator that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, I unfortunately found it very difficult to control how much of it came out of it’s Bottle when I started to sprinkle it across my Skin.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Hyaluronic Acid Serum rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Hyaluronic Acid Serum into a thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Pear for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Clear Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to rub it against my Skin, it started to ever so slightly melt and release little pieces of incredibly thick and buttery yet ever so slightly gritty Ground Coconut Shell and Ground Almond all over my Body that combined to give my Skin a very deep but moisturising Scrub.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky smooth, soft, squeaky clean, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and uplifting yet ever so slightly zesty Peppermint for hours after I had used it.

My overall thoughts.

I really liked the Lush Celebrate Body Lotion, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy Orange scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I also wish that it had come in some kind of a Plastic Bottle or Tub so that I could control exactly how much of it I was using. I really liked the Lush Golden Pear Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Pear scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush Humbug Scrubee Body Scrub, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and uplifting yet ever so slightly zesty Peppermint scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had contained some Menthol Crystals to give my Skin a little bit of a tingling sensation when I used it. I really liked the Lush Merry Christmas Everyone Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy Orange scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range.
