It’s no secret that the Garnier Vitamin C Anti-Dark Spot & Brightening Serum is one of my favourite ever Vitamin C Serums, as I absolutely love how clear and bright it leaves my Skin looking, it’s price, and that it’s really easy to get hold of. That’s why when I saw that Garnier had released a Vitamin C* Brightening Liquid Care that claims to leave you with silky soft, hydrated and brighter-looking Skin whilst I was scrolling through Boots’ Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

How to use.
Use it in the Morning and Evening, after cleansing and before Serum. Apply the product to a Cotton Round or Reusable Pad and wipe the Face. Avoid direct contact with the Eyes.
It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Niacinamide, Glycerin, Propanediol, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Phenoxyethanol, Salicylic Acid, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-T-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Xanthan Gum, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Sodium Hydroxide, C14-22- Alcohols, Chlorphenesin, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Fragrance, C12-20 Alkyl Glucoside, Orange Fruit Extract, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, and Potassium Sorbate, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly sour Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Carton of Orange Juice.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Toner, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly gelatinous, and was more like an incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly gelatinous Facial Serum rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Toner.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had poured some of it on to a Reusable Cotton Pad and had started to swipe it across my Face, it turned from an incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly gelatinous Facial Serum into a thin and oily yet ever so slightly watery Toner that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated ,but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear, brighter and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.
It’s packaging.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, because of it’s incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly gelatinous consistency, I found it rather hard to get it out of it’s Bottle and would have preferred it if it had come in a Bottle with some kind of a Pump Lid.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Garnier Vitamin C* Brightening Liquid Care a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly sour Orange scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had come in a Bottle with some kind of a Pump Lid so that it was a little bit easier to use.
