Even though I don’t celebrate Diwali myself, I love that Lush has yet again decided to release some kind of a Diwali range this year, as it means that everyone can celebrate their chosen Religious Celebration, not just the people that celebrate Christmas, Easter, or Lunar New Year. That’s why when I had heard that they had released their Diwali 2022 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Rangoli Dreams Bath Bomb, and a Bottle of Mango Shower Gel, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what Lush say about both delicious smelling products.
The Rangoli Dreams Bath Bomb.
Let the Cardamom light in.
Watch colours of Orange, Red and Gold glide across your Bath as you sink into Skin softening Waters with Rice Starch and Coconut Milk Powder.
How to use.
Run your Bath and set off this Bath Bomb in the Water. Listen out for the sound of Firework-like crackles and pops, whilst you inhale the scent of decadent floral Rose and rich Cardamom.
How to store.
Store somewhere cool and dry until ready to pop and crackle.
The Mango Shower Gel.
Juicy, fruity and fresh.
Prepare your Body for the celebrations ahead by showering in a blend of sweet fresh Mango Juice.
How to use.
Whether you are pampering or preparing to Party, lather this fruity Gel all over the Body and rinse off for sweetly scented softened Skin.

It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Alcohol Denat, Popping Candy, Coconut Milk Powder, Rice Starch, Green Mandarin Oil, Rose Oil, Benzoin Resinoid, Cardamom Oil, Almond Essential Oil, Cream Of Tartar, Water, Cornstarch, Titanium Dioxide, Dipropylene Glycol, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Silica, Tin Oxide, Cinnamal, Citronellol, Coumarin, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 47005:1, Colour 15985:1, Colour 19140:1, Colour 14700, and Colour 77491, I thought that it had a very subtile fresh and floral yet ever so slightly powdery Rose scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you pick a Red Rose from a massive Rose Bush in a Rose Garden.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright Yellow all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of dazzling dark Orange and Gold Lustre all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful bright Yellow to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering dark Orange colour. I also really liked that as it fizzed and hissed, that it released little pieces of Popping Candy all over the surface of the Water that made it sound like a Firework was actually going off in my Bath.,
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of very subtile fresh and floral yet ever so slightly powdery Rose for hours after I had used it.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Cardamom Infusion, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Glycerine, Coconut Milk, Lauryl Betaine, Fragrance, Fresh Mango Juice, Vanilla Absolute, Blackcurrant Absolute, Organic Sweet Orange Oil, Tagetes Oil, Lactic Acid, Water, Titanium Dioxide, Carrageenan Extract, Propylene Glycol, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Alcohol, Citral, Limonene, Colour 47005, Colour 19140:1, and Colour 15510, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Mango scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of freshly squeezed Mango Juice on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Slime rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Gel.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Slime into a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Mango for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Rangoli Dreams Bath Bomb an eight out of ten, and the Lush Mango Shower Gel a nine out of ten. I really liked the Lush Rangoli Dreams Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly powdery Rose scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Rose. I really liked the Lush Mango Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Mango scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Mango.
