‘Cause There’s A Spark In You. You Just Gotta Ignite The Light | Lush Diwali 2024 Range

Like I said in my Lush Dia De Los Muertos 2024 range post, I absolutely love Lush’s Co-Create range, as I really like that it allows me to discover a little bit more about other people’s customs, religions and traditions whilst also discovering some cool and interesting products. That’s why when I had heard that they had released a Diwali 2024 range with some of the products being created by someone who works at Lush Italy, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Lotus Blossom Bath Bomb, and a Bottle of Sparkling Light Shower Gel, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about both delicious smelling products.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Alcohol Denat, Cornstarch, Fragrance, Black Pepper Oil, Clove Bud Oil, Jasmine Absolute, Patchouli Oil, Australian Sandalwood Oil, Water, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Propylene Glycol, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Tin Oxide, Silica, Coumarin, Eugenol, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 42090:2, Colour 45410:2, Colour 19140:1, Colour 45410, Colour 45410:1, Colour 77491, Colour 17200, Colour 42053, Colour 59040, and Colour 14700, I thought that it had a delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly smokey Jasmine and Black Pepper scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had sprinkled some crushed Black Pepper over a massive Pile of freshly picked Jasmine Petals.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright Pink all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous bright Green and Purple all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful bright Pink to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering Fuchsia colour.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly smokey Jasmine and Black Pepper for hours after I had used it.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Water, Fine Sea Salt, Almond Infusion, Calcium Lactate Gluconate, Lauryl Betaine, Fragrance, Lactic Acid, Black Pepper Oil, Clove Bud Oil, Jasmine Absolute, Patchouli Oil, Australian Sandalwood Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Cinnamal, Coumarin, Eugenol, Limonene, and Linalool, I thought that it had a delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly floral Jasmine and Patchouli scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured a Glass of Coke over a massive pile of freshly picked Jasmine Petals.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly gelatinous, and was more like an incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Oil rather than a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Oil into a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly floral Jasmine and Patchouli for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Lotus Blossom Bath Bomb an eight out of ten, and the Lush Sparkling Light Shower Gel a nine out of ten. I really liked the Lush Lotus Blossom Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly smokey Jasmine and Black Pepper scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had been a little bit bigger. I really liked the Lush Sparkling Light Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly floral Jasmine and Patchouli scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range.
