I absolutely love that Lush has started to release ranges to celebrate other Religious Holidays such as Lunar New Year, Diwali, and Eid instead of just Christmas and Easter, as I think that everyone should be able to celebrate their chosen Religious Holiday no matter what it might be. That’s why when I had heard that they had released their Eid 2022 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Light The Night Bath Bomb, and a Bottle of the Sticky Dates Shower Gel, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what Lush say about both delicious smelling products.
The Light The Night Bath Bomb.
Eid inspired Jasmine soaks.
How to use.
Made with luxurious Pomegranate Molasses, drop this Jewel into your Bath to prepare for the Eid celebrations ahead and rise smelling of rich Jasmine and warm Vanilla.
How to store.
Keep cool and dry until you are ready to use.
The Sticky Dates Shower Gel.
Rich Date Syrup and Vanilla suds.
How to use.
Start your Eid morning with some Dates, but in the Shower! This long-lasting fragrance is made with 25% softening Date Syrup, aromatic Vanilla and sweet Sandalwood. With a hydrating low lather formula, rub all over your Body and Hair and rinse off.

It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Alcohol Denat, Jasmine Absolute, Vanilla Absolute, Labdanum Resinoid, Olibanum Resinoid, Rose Syrup, Pomegranate Molasses, Titanium Dioxide, Cream of Tartar, Cornstarch, Water, Talc, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Dipropylene Glycol, Tin Oxide, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Alcohol, Fragrance, Colour 19140:1, Colour 77491, Colour 42090:2, Colour 19140, Colour 42090, Colour 77288, Colour 45410:2, and Colour 77499, I thought that it had a very sweet and floral yet ever so slightly soapy Jasmine scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Bottle of very cheap Jasmine Conditioner.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of vibrant dark Green all over the surface of the Water that eventually turned my entire Bath a gorgeous dark Green colour, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of vibrant bright Blue all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the gorgeous dark Green to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering Turquoise colour.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of very sweet and floral yet ever so slightly soapy Jasmine for hours after I had used it.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Organic Date Syrup, Glycerine, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Vanilla Pod Infusion, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sunflower Lecithin, Fragrance, Fresh Orange Juice, Carob Resinoid, Benzoin Resinoid, Sandalwood Oil, and Gardenia Extract, I thought that it had a delicious deep and caramelly yet ever so slightly sugary Brown Sugar scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Bag of Brown Sugar.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Cream rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Gel.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Cream into a thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and caramelly yet ever so slightly sugary Brown Sugar for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Light The Night Bath Bomb a six out of ten, and the Lush Sticky Dates Shower Gel a nine point five out of ten. I really liked the Lush Light The Night Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very sweet and floral yet ever so slightly soapy Jasmine scent. I really liked the Lush Sticky Dates Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and caramelly yet ever so slightly sugary Brown Sugar scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range.

Hey thanks for sharing …. I was going to give the bath bomb a try but the price is to much. The shower gel I did buy and its defo a super sweet treacle sort of scent! Here’s hoping lush doesnt continue to rise prices on bath bombs and then I could try them out!
