I think that it’s amazing that Lush always tries to celebrate and promote other people’s Cultures and Traditions through their Co-Create Ranges, including Diwali, Hanukkah, and Lunar New Year, as I don’t really know of any other Brand that does it. That’s why when I had heard that they had released an Eid Al-Fitr 2025 range with some of the products being created by Lush Staff as well as a dedicated Muslim Focus Group, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Bottle of Salam Shower Gel, and a Tub of Basma Body Scrub, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what Lush say about both delicious smelling products.
The Lush Salam Shower Gel.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycerine, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Lauryl Betaine, Citric Acid, Witch Hazel Extract, Blackcurrant Absolute, Davana Oil, Lime Oil, Brazilian Orange Oil, Fresh Raspberry Juice, Blackcurrant Juice , Fresh Grape Juice, Lactic Acid, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Limonene, Fragrance, Colour 17200, and Colour 14700, I thought that it had a delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Blackcurrant and Grape scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Bottle of Vimto.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Hyaluronic Acid Serum rather than a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Shower Gel.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Hyaluronic Acid Serum into a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.,
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Blackcurrant and Grape for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Clear Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Salam Shower Gel an nine out of ten, and the Lush Basma Body Scrub a nine point five out of ten. I really liked the Lush Salam Shower Gel, as I really liked it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Blackcurrant and Grape scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Grape. I really liked the Lush Basma Body Scrub, as I really liked it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Blackcurrant and Grape scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range.
