Get Ready For The Holi’, Holi’, Holidays | Lush Manchester Holiday 2024 Preview | Gifted

A couple of weeks ago, both me and Jamie were very kindly invited down to Lush Manchester to come and check out all of the amazing products that they will have on offer over the next couple of months, and after having an amazing time sniffing all of the delicious smelling Bath Bombs, Shower Gels, and Perfumes, I thought that I would tell you all about it.

What happened when I visited Lush Manchester?

Once we had finally arrived in Manchester, and had been for something to eat, we eventually headed to Lush Manchester which is located next door to Lego inside the Manchester Arndale Shopping Centre in Manchester City Centre.
Then once we had walked into the extremely bright and festive-looking Store, we were very kindly greeted by one of their very friendly Staff Members, who said hi and asked us if we were ok. We said hi back, and that we were hear for the Holiday 2024 Preview, and after a couple of seconds of us all chatting, she started to explain what would be happening throughout the evening. She told us that we would be visiting little stations dotted all around the Store, including a Perfume Consultation, a stand dedicated to their Co-Create range, a Skincare and Body Care Consultation, their Snow Fairy Greenhouse Grotto, and would finish off the evening by being shown how to wrap a Present using one of their Knot Wraps. She then said that she hoped that we had a great evening before taking us over to our first station.

The first station that we visited was their Co-Create range Station, where a really nice Man called Luka introduced us to all of the products that will be released as part of this year’s Co-Create range, including the Cempasúchil Bath Bomb and Shower Gel from their Dia De Muertos range, the Lotus Blossom Bath Bomb from their Diwali range, and even the Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel Bath Bomb and Gelt Soap from their Hanukkah range, which Luka has actually helped to create himself. Then after we had finished talking all about the Co-Create range, Luka very kindly gave me a Bottle of Sticky Dates Body Lotion to take Home with me before taking us over to our next station.

The next station that we visited was their Perfume Station, where a very friendly Man called Ben introduced us to all of the Perfumes that they had on offer, including some of their new releases like Chelsea Morning, No Way To Say Goodbye, and Vegan Leather Jacket before giving us a full Perfume Consultation. He first started by asking me what kind of Fragrances I usually where, before going and finding me a few that he thought that I would like. I said that I usually wear anything Citrus and fresh smelling, and after a couple of seconds, he brought back a Bottle of both The Bee’s Knees and Fresh As for me to sniff. He then massaged a little bit of their Magik Massage Bar into my Wrists as it apparently helps the Perfume to stick to your Skin, and applied a little bit of each of them for me to sniff. I loved both of them but I eventually settled on Fresh As being my favourite of the two. He then very kindly gave me a 30ml Bottle of Fresh As Perfume to take Home with me before taking us over to our next station.

The next station that we visited was their Snow Fairy Greenhouse Grotto, where a very friendly Man called Mark told us all about all of the different Snow Fairy products that they will have on offer this year, including all five variations of their cult-classic Snow Fairy Shower Gel, before asking us if we would like to make our very own Snow Fairy Bath Bomb. We of course said yes, and after I had managed to get a set of Rubber Gloves on, he talked me through how to make my very own Snow Fairy Bath Bomb. I first had to sprinkle a Pinch of Silver Lustre into the bottom half of one side of the Mould, then take handfuls of both Pink and White Bath Bomb Dust that was in some big Bowls at the side of me and fill up the rest of the Mould. Then once I had finished filling up both sides of the Mould, he very kindly pressed them together for me and wrapped it in a Paper Bag to take Home with me before taking us over to our next station.

The next station that we visited was their Skincare and Body Care Station, where a really nice Man called Ben told us all about some of the Skincare and Body Care that they will have on offer before passing me over to another one of his very friendly colleagues to start my very own Skincare Consultation. He first started by asking me a little bit about what Skincare I use and how my Skin was feeling. I told him all about my Skincare Routine and some of the Lush Skincare that I use before he said that I actually seemed like I had a pretty good Skincare Routine. He then asked me if it was ok if he concentrated on some of the Body Care that they will have on offer instead, to which I of course said yes, and he started to try out some delicious smelling Body Care on me from a little Slate that he had created before the event. He first started by using a little bit of the Shoot For The Stars Body Scrub on my Arm, which contains Fine Sea Salt and Creamed Coconut to give your Skin a really deep but moisturising scrub. He then removed it using a Bowl of Warm Water before applying a little bit of the Snow Bear Soap, which contains Oat Milk, Soya Yoghurt, and Glycerine to give your Skin a really deep but moisturising cleanse. He then removed it using another Bowl of Warm Water before applying a little bit of the Sympathy For the Skin Body Lotion, which contains Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Fresh Organic Bananas, and Almond Oil to leave your Skin feeling intensely moisturised. Then once he had finally finished applying everything, he very kindly gave me a Tub of Shoot For The Stars Body Scrub and a Tub of Sympathy For The Skin Body Lotion to take Home with me before taking us over to our last and final station.

The last and final Station that we visited was their Gifting and Wrapping Station, where a really nice Man called James, who also happened to be one of the Store’s Managers, told us all about some of the Gifts that they will have on offer. He then showed us one of their amazing and silky soft Knot Wraps that had a Map of Manchester printed all over it before taking all of the products that we had been very kindly given throughout the evening and wrapping them up for us. He first told us that they put all of the products inside a Recycled Tray that’s made out of Tomato Pulp before wrapping a Knot Wrap around it. He then showed us the perfect way to tie one of their Knot Wraps before handing us our products back. He then said that he really hoped that we had enjoyed ourselves, to which we both of course said yes, and that we were free to wander around and check out any other products that we had our Eyes on.
We then wandered around for a little bit and did a little bit of Shopping as it would be rude not to, especially as they had an early release of their Christmas range on offer, before saying our thank you’s and goodbye’s to all of the really nice Staff Members that we had met throughout the evening, and heading off back into Manchester to catch our Train.
I had a fantastic time checking out all of Lush Manchester’s, Holiday 2024 range, and if you would like to find out more about them, including all of the Events that they will have on offer over the next couple of months, then you can find them online here.
I would just like to thank Lush Manchester for having me and Jamie, and for hosting such a fantastic evening.
