Even though I don’t actually celebrate Valentine’s Day, I mean why do you need a specific day to tell somebody that you love them? I still really look forward to it, as I absolutely love seeing all of the cool, quirky and usually heart shaped products that everywhere starts to release. That’s why when I had heard that Lush had released their Valentine’s Day 2023 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after checking everything out, I eventually picked up a Valentine’s Bombshell Bath Bomb, a Strawberry Crumble Bubbleroon, a Bag of Love Shower Spheres, and a Block of Passion Fruit Delight Body Wash, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all four amazing products.

The Valentine’s Bombshell Bath Bomb.

A Blanket of Rose Petals.
Regenerative Pakistani Rose Absolute and bright Sicilian Lemon Oil invite you to bathe in a floral scented Bouquet, where the Bath Water is as smooth as Silk thanks to the addition of Soybean Flour. As the Bombshell Case fizzes and dissolves, the confetti-like Flowers, Petals and Buds inside float across the surface.

How to use.

Plant your Bombshell in warm Bath Water, and watch as the dried Flower Petals create a Rose-scented garland around you.

How to store.

Store in a cool, dry place until you’re in need of a fresh Punch of Posies.

The Strawberry Crumble Bubbleroon.

Fresh, fruity, and juicy.
At a Picnic with some Bubbly or dipped in Chocolate, Strawberries have long been associated with a loving Valentine’s Day. Now you can bathe in your own juicy and sweet Red Berry Smoothie! Strawberry Crumble has a Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter filling, creating a softening, soothing, and moisturising Bath with a comforting sweet scent.

How to use.

Crumble under running Water, and swish this Strawberry Heart for a berry good Bath.

How to store.

Store in a cool, dry place, then reach for a Punnet of our fresh Strawberries.

The Love Shower Spheres.

An enlivening Shower Bouquet.
Fall in love with Plastic-Free Showers. Enlivening Lemongrass and sunny Bergamot oils shine, before heady Ylang Ylang Oil adds a sweet finish to the Fragrance that will drive them crazy.

How to use.

Shower Spheres are naked doses of Shower Gel. Simply pinch between your Fingers and tear open, tipping the Gel into your Hand and washing all over. When you’re done lathering up, the Seaweed layer can be washed down the Plug or popped in the Compost.

How to store.

Until you’re ready to fall Head over Heels, store in a cool, dry place. These Shower Spheres can also be kept in the Freezer before use for an extra-cool refreshing experience.

The Passion Fruit Delight Body Wash.

A passion for softness.
A Plastic-Free alternative to Shower Gel made with real Fresh Passion FruiT Juice, this Delight Body Wash is mmarshmallowy, gooey, and an absolute joy to use. Zesty Buchu and Litsea Cubeba Oils work together to create a cheerful fruity Fragrance, whilst also being thoroughly cleansing thanks to their antiseptic nature.

How to use.

Get fruity and lather up for a light, creamy cleanse. Tear off a little or use the whole Block for Skin softening washes.

How to store.

Store in a cool, dry place until you’re in need of a zesty hit.

The Lush Valentine’s Bombshell Bath Bomb.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Soybean Flower, Titanium Dioxide, Pakistani Rose Absolute, Rose Oil, Geranium Oil, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Cream Of Tartar, Water, Talc, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Propylene Glycol, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Tin Oxide, Citronellol, Coumarin, Geraniol, Limonene, Fragrance, Colour 45410:2, Colour 45410:1, Colour 15851, Colour 45410, Colour 77491, Colour 17200, Dried Pink Delphinium Petals, Dried Blue Mallow Petals, Dried Blue Larkspur, Dried Sunflower Petals, Cornflowers, Rosebuds, and Marigold Flowers, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly zesty Rose scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking through a Rose Garden on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.

What it did when I used it.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright Red all over the surface of the Water that eventually turned my entire Bath a stunning shimmering Pastel Pink colour. Then once it had finally finished fizzing and hissing, it also released little pieces of Dried Pink Delphinium Petals, Dried Blue Mallow Flowers, Dried Blue Larkspur, Dried Sunflower Petals, Cornflowers, Rosebuds, and Marigold Flowers all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the Pastel Pink to make it look like I was bathing in a Bouquet of Flowers. The problem however was that because there were so many different Flowers and Petals, it unfortunately made me feel like someone else was in the Bath with me.

It’s results.

I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly zesty Rose for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Strawberry Crumble Bubbleroon.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Cream Of Tartar, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Lauryl Betaine, Cornstarch, Fragrance, Laureth 4, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Tonka Absolute, Fresh Strawberries, Fair Trade Shea Butter, Soybean Flower, Coumarin, Geraniol, Limonene, Colour 45410:1, Colour 45410, Colour 45410:2, Colour 59040, and Colour 42090, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Strawberry scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Punnet of Strawberries.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it., as once I had crumbled a little bit of it under some running Water and had let my Bath fill all the way to the top, it created mounds of incredibly silky soft Baby Pink Bubbles that made it look like I was bathing in a Sea of Candy Floss at Sunset.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Strawberry for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Love Shower Spheres.

Their scent.

I really liked their scent, as even though they contained Water, Glycerine, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Calcium Lactate Gluconate, Fine Sea Salt, Lauryl Betaine, Ylang Ylang Oil, Lemongrass Oil, Bergamot Oil, Jasmine Absolute, Rose Absolute, Ylang Ylang Absolute, Lactic Acid, Sodium Alginate, Benzyl Benzoate, Citral, Coumarin, Oakmoss Extract, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 14700, and Colour 17200, I thought that they had a delicious floral and zesty yet ever so slightly fresh Ylang Ylang and Lemongrass scent to them that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Box of Ylang Ylang scented Washing Powder.

What they did when I used them.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of what these did when I used them, as once I had finally managed to tear one of them open, it released quite a lot of incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Gel that ended up getting all over my Shower as there was probably more than twice the amount of Shower Gel that I would normally use inside one of them. I did however really like that once I had started to massage it into my Skin, that it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Gel into a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

Their results.

I really liked their results, as not only did these leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but they also left it smelling of delicious floral and zesty yet ever so slightly fresh Ylang Ylang and Lemongrass for hours after I had used one of them.

Their packaging.

I really liked their packaging, as these came in a tall rectangular resealable Paper Pouch that kept them really fresh until I was ready to use them.

The Lush Passion Fruit Delight Body Wash.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Granulated Sugar, Agar Agar Gel, Invert Sugar Syrup, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Aquafaba, Fresh Passion Fruit Juice, Fragrance, Cornstarch, Buchu Oil, Litsea Cubeba Oil, Sweet Wild Orange Oil, Xanthan Gum, Almond Oil, Cream Of Tartar, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Citral, Limonene, Colour 15985:1, and Colour 19141, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Passionfruit scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Packet of Trident Passionfruit Gum.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds and had started to massage it into my Skin, it started to create an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy lather that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Passionfruit for at least half an hour after I had used it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Valentine’s Bombshell Bath Bomb a seven point five out of ten, the Lush Strawberry Crumble Bubbleroon an eight out of ten, the Lush Love Shower Spheres a five out of ten, and the Lush Passion Fruit Delight Body Wash a nine out of ten. I really liked the Lush Valentine’s Bombshell Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly zesty Rose scent, and it’s results, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of what it did when I used it, because as well as the Flowers and Petals totally creeping me out whenever one of them touched me, they were an absolute nightmare to clean up. I really liked the Lush Strawberry Crumble Bubbleroon, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Strawberry scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Strawberry. I really liked the Lush Love Shower Spheres, as I absolutely loved their delicious floral and zesty yet ever so slightly fresh Ylang Ylang and Lemongrass scent, their results, and their packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of what they did when I used them, because as well as them containing far too much Shower Gel than I would normally use at one time, and their Sodium Alginate Casings being really hard to tear, I think it would have been a much better idea to offer them as a regular Shower Gel inside a Bottle. I really liked the Lush Passion Fruit Delight Body Wash, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Passion Fruit scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it was part of their main range.
