Even though i’m not the biggest fan of Valentine’s Day, I do love it when all of the different Beauty Brands start to release their Valentine’s Day ranges, as it usually means that we get to see some very Red, Pink or love themed limited edition products. That’s why when I had heard that Lush had released a Valentine’s Day 2024 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Love Potion Bath Bomb, a Whispering Heart Bath Bomb, a Bottle of Passion Shower Gel, a Tub of Kiss Me Quick Shower Jelly, a Tub of Posh White Chocolate & Rose Body Wash, a Queen Of Hearts Lush Melt, a Tube of Crush Lip Butter, and a Bottle of New Romantics perfume, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.,

The Love Potion Bath Bomb.

Charm your crush!
Delight in this Love Charm, sprinkled with Orris Root Powder, well-known for its magical use of finding and holding onto Love. It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Popping Candy, Fragrance, Sicilian Red Mandarin Oil, Almond Essential Oil, Orris Root Powder, Cornstarch, Titanium Dioxide, Water, Talc, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, Tin Oxide, Geraniol, Limonene, Colour 45410:2, Colour 42090:2, Colour 45410, Colour 42090, Colour 77491, Colour 77499, Wafer Paper, and a Candy Heart, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Red Mandarin scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a Packet of Love Hearts Sweets.

What it did when I Used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright White Foam all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous dark Purple and pieces of Pink and White Confetti all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful bright White Foam to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering Pastel Purple colour. I also really liked that once it had finally stopped fizzing and hissing, that it released little pieces of Popping Candy all over the surface of the Water that made it sound like a Potion was actually crackling and bubbling in my Bath.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Red Mandarin for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Whispering Heart Bath Bomb.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Cornstarch, Epsom Salts, Fragrance, Bergamot Oil, Brazilian Orange Oil, Water, Titanium Dioxide, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Limonene, Colour 45410:2, Colour 45410:1, Colour 14700, Colour 17200, and Colour 45410, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Rhubarb scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you poach some Rhubarb to make a Rhubarb Crumble.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright Pink all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous dark Red all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the bright Pink to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering dark Pink colour. I also really liked that as it was fizzing and hissing, that it released little pieces of Epsom Salt all over the surface of the Water that eventually dissolved and left behind some really silky soft feeling Water.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Rhubarb for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Passion Shower Gel.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Water, Red Rose Petal Infusion, Calcium Lactate Gluconate, Fine Sea Salt, Lauryl Betaine, Fragrance, Lactic Acid, Fresh Passion Fruit Juice, Buchu Oil, Litsea Cubeba Oil, Sweet Wild Orange Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Cornstarch, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Citral, Limonene, Colour 14700, and Colour 17200, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Passion Fruit scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Packet of Trident Passion Fruit Gum.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Bubble Bath rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Bubble Bath into a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Passion Fruit for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush Kiss Me Quick Shower Jelly.</H1`>

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, Carrageenan Extract, Fair Trade Organic Aloe Vera Gel, Fragrance, Fresh Strawberry Juice, Clove Bud Oil, Mimosa Absolute, Tonka Absolute, Benzyl Alcohol, Cinnamyl Alcohol, Coumarin, Eugenol, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 14700, and Colour 17200, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Strawberry scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you burn a very high end Strawberry Candle.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Jelly, I thought that it felt really tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy, and was more like a very tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy Ball of Rubber rather than a squishy and slimy yet ever so slightly watery Shower Jelly.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage it into my Skin, it started to release lots of thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Strawberry for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Black Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush Posh White Chocolate and Rose Body Wash.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Fair Trade Organic Aloe Vera Gel, Cocomidopropyl Betaine, Rose Water, Coconut Milk Powder, Fragrance, Australian Sandalwood Oil, Vanilla Absolute, Rose Oil, Fair Trade Columbian Cocoa Butter, Rosebuds, Titanium Dioxide, Citric Acid, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Silica, Tin Oxide, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Citronellol, Geraniol, Linalool, and Colour 77491, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly floral White Chocolate and Rose scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured a massive Pot of melted White Chocolate over a mound of Turkish Delight.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body Wash, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Cream rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Body Wash.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Body Wash that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly floral White Chocolate and Rose for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Black Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush Queen Of Hearts Lush Melt.
It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Cetearyl Olivate & Sorbitan Olivate, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Polysorbate 20, Silica, Fragrance, Glyceryl Stearate, Almond Oil, Geranium Oil, Rose Absolute, Violet Leaf Absolute, Organic Rose Hip Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Citronellol, Geraniol, Linalool, Colour 14700, Colour 26100, and Colour 73360, I thought that it had a delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly fruity Rose and Violet scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk past a Vase full of Roses and Violets on a balmy Spring Afternoon.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it ever so slowly started to melt before releasing streams of beautiful creamy White and vivid bright Pink all over the surface of the Water that eventually turned my entire Bath a stunning milky Pink colour.

It’s scent throw.

I really liked it’s scent throw, as one Cube managed to fill my entire Room with it’s delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly fruity Rose and Violet scent that lasted for hours even after I had stopped burning it.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 6 hours of burn time out of each individual Cube, but as I used an Electric Wax Melt Warmer, I easily got at least 10 hours of delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly fruity Rose and Violet scent out of it.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came wrapped in a really thick piece of Recycled Paper that I thought looked really professional, I would have preferred it if it had come in some kind of a Plastic Tub or Tray.

The Lush Crush Lip Butter.

It’s taste.

I absolutely loved it’s taste, as even though it contained Organic Castor Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Glycerine, Sunflower Wax, Organic Shea Butter, Candelilla Wax, Limonene, Brazilian Orange Oil, Grapefruit Oil, Orange Flower Absolute, Stevia, Benzyl Cinnamate, Cinnamal, Cinnamyl Alcohol, Citral, Farnesol, Geraniol, Linalool, Flavour, and Colour 47005:1, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Orange taste to it that kind of reminded me of sipping a massive Glass of freshly squeezed Orange Juice on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to swipe a little bit of it across my Lips, it started to ever so slightly melt and release lots of incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Lip Butter all over my Lips that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Lips feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left them looking much healthier and tasting of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Orange for at least ten minutes after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical twist up Plastic Tube with a screw top Lid that fitted really easily into my Pocket.

The Lush New Romantics Perfume.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Organic Alcohol Denat, Fragrance, Water, Limonene, Sweet Wild Orange Oil, Glycerine, Davana Oil, Pimento Berry Oil, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Cinnamal Alcohol, Citral, Coumarin, Eugenol, Farnesol, Geraniol, Isoeugenol, and Linalool, I thought that it had a very strange fresh and sweet yet ever so slightly spicy Orange and Peach scent to it that kind of reminded me of some very high end Bathroom Cleaner.

It’s longevity.

I really liked how long this lasted on my Skin, as I sprayed a little bit of it on to my Wrists and Neck when I was getting ready at about eight o’clock in the morning, and I could still faintly smell it on my Skin when I sat down to have a Cup of Tea at about three thirty in the afternoon.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a really thick rectangular Glass Perfume Bottle with a Black metallic Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Love Potion Bath Bomb a nine out of ten, the Lush Whispering Heart Bath Bomb an eight out of ten, the Lush Passion Shower Gel a nine point five out of ten, the Lush Kiss Me Quick Shower Jelly a nine out of ten, the Lush Posh White Chocolate and Rose Body Wash a seven point five out of ten, the Lush Queen Of Hearts Lush Melt a nine out of ten, the Lush Crush Lip Butter a nine out of ten, and the Lush New Romantics Perfume a five out of ten. I really liked the Lush Love Potion Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Red Mandarin scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush Whispering Heart Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Rhubarb scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Bergamot. I really liked the Lush Passion Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Passion Fruit scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush Kiss Me Quick Shower Jelly, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Strawberry scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was available in a different shape, as I found it’s Lip shape quite difficult to hold, especially when it was wet. I really liked the Lush Posh White Chocolate and Rose Body Wash, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly floral White Chocolate and Rose scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had actually smelt of White Chocolate. I really liked the Lush Queen Of Hearts Lush Melt, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly fruity Rose and Violet scent, what it did when I used it, it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I just wish that it had come packaged in some kind of a Plastic Tub or Tray. I really liked the Lush Crush Lip Butter, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Orange scent, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush New Romantics Perfume, as I absolutely loved it’s longevity, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange fresh and sweet yet ever so slightly spicy Orange and Peach scent.
