Even though i’ve never really been a massive fan of Lush’s Skincare range, as it just doesn’t work that well for my Skin. I do like to check out anything new from time to time as I never know if it’s going to be the one product from their Skincare range that my Skin actually likes. That’s why when I had heard that they had released a Fresh Skincare 2025 range that includes six Fresh Cleansers and two Facial Sugar Cubes, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Tub of Biomic Cleanser, a Tub of Blueberry Roly Poly Cleanser, a Tub of Koji Paste Cleanser, and a Sugar Plum Facial Sugar Cube, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what Lush say about all four fantastic products.
The Lush Biomic Cleanser.

The Lush Biomic Cleanser.
It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Kaolin, Ground Almonds, Glycerine, Organic Soya Kefir Yoghurt, Sweet White Miso, Bergamot Oil, Geranium Oil, Grapefruit Oil, Benzyl Salicylate, Geraniol, Limonene, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly zesty Geranium scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk into a Florist on a balmy Spring Afternoon.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Cleanser, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Night Cream rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Cleanser.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had mixed a good pinch of it with some Water and had started to massage it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Night Cream into a thin and creamy Cleansing Milk with little pieces of Ground Almond running through it that spread really easily across my Face.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical clear Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Calamine Powder, Kaolin, Organic Blueberries, Fresh Aloe Gel, Coconut Yoghurt, Fine Sea Salt, Juniperberry Oil, Rosemary Oil, Kenyan Geranium Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Carrageenan Extract, Cornstarch, Titanium Dioxide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Limonene, Colour 77742, Colour 45410, Colour 42090:2, and Colour 42090, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and medicinal yet ever so slightly fruity Rosemary and Blueberry scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk past a Blueberry Bush on a balmy Spring Afternoon.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Cleanser, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly crumbly, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly crumbly Body Scrub rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Cleanser.

It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Kaolin, Ground Almonds, Koji Paste, Water, Grapefruit Oil, Neroli Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Talc, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 45410:2, Colour 77491, Colour 77499, and Salted Sakura Flowers, I thought that it had a very strange deep and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Neroli scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you enter a Bathroom after someone’s just finished cleaning it with some very cheap Neroli Bathroom Cleaner.
It’s consistency.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Cleanser, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and balmy yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly thick and balmy yet ever so slightly creamy Styling Paste rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Cleanser.

What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had mixed a good pinch of it with some Water and has started to massage it into my Skin, it turned from a very soft and squidgy Block of Sugar into a thick and creamy Cleansing Polish with little pieces of Ground Almonds and Golden Castor Sugar running through it that spread really easily across my Face.

My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Biomic Cleanser a nine out of ten, the Lush Blueberry Roly Poly Cleanser an eight point five out of ten, the Lush Koji Paste Cleanser a seven out of ten, an the Lush Sugar Plum Facial Sugar Cube an eight point five out of ten. I really liked the Lush Biomic Cleanser, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly zesty Geranium scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was available in a much smaller Tub, as 125g of a Cleanser that contains Live Cultures is actually quite hard to finish using within 28 days. I really liked the Lush Blueberry Roly Poly Cleanser, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and medicinal yet ever so slightly fruity Rosemary and Blueberry scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that I hadn’t had to mix it together to be able to use it. I really liked the Lush Koji Paste Cleanser, as I absolutely loved what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange deep and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Neroli scent, or it’s incredibly thick and balmy yet ever so slightly creamy consistency,. I really liked the Lush Sugar Plum Facial Sugar Cube, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Blackcurrant scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had come in some kind of a Plastic Tub to help keep it dry in between uses.
