As I See The Pretty Flowers That Are Falling One By One | Lush White Day 2025 Range | Ad

I absolutely love that Lush always tries to highlight and celebrate other Cultures and Religions, including Diwali, Eid, and Hanukkah. That’s why when I had heard that they had released a White Day 2025 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Bottle of Sakura Shower Gel, and a Hanami Body Scrub, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about both delicious smelling products.

The Lush Sakura Shower Gel.

Shower in full bloom.
Welcome a rush of Cherry Blossoms into your Shower as you envelop yourself in the delicate florals of Jasmine and Mimosa Absolute. Inspired by the enchanting displays of falling Cherry Blossoms in Japan, envision dream-like swirls of Petals fluttering around you, as you indulge in this freshly floral experience.

What’s in it for you?

    • Mimosa Absolute is a natural source of Hyaluronic Acid, helping to firm and hydrate while also delicately fragrancing the Skin with its floral but energising scent.
    • Lemon Oil adds a light zestyness to this floral parade, while leaving your Skin feeling bright and fresh.
    • Yomogi Leaf has been widely used in Japan for centuries for its warming and soothing effects on the Skin, it’s also considered a symbol of Spring in Japanese Culture, due to its herbal taste and Green colour.

The Lush Sakura Shower Gel.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycerine, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Lauryl Betaine, Fresh Lemon Juice, Titanium Dioxide, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Mimosa Absolute, Orange Flower Absolute, Jasmine Absolute, Carrageenan Extract, Citral, Hydroxycitronellol, Limonene, Linalool, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly zesty Jasmine and Mimosa scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured some Lemon Juice over a massive Pile of Jasmine and Mimosa Petals.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Slime rather than a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Slime into a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly zesty Jasmine and Mimosa for hours after I had used it.,

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

A medium half sphere shaped block of creamy white solid body scrub that has some pieces of granulated sugar running through it and some bright pink petals in the centre of it, on a white background.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Illipe Butter, Fine Sea Salt, Granulated Sugar, Sodium Bicarbonate, Organic Shea Butter, Salted Sakura Flowers, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cream Of Tartar, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Lauryl Betaine, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Mimosa Absolute, Orange Flower Absolute, Jasmine Absolute, Limonene, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly zesty Jasmine and Mimosa scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured some Lemon Juice over a massive Pile of Jasmine and Mimosa Petals.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to rub it against my Skin, it started to release lots of incredibly chunky and gritty yet ever so slightly buttery pieces of Fine Sea Salt and Granulated Sugar that blended together to give my Skin a really deep and harsh yet ever so slightly moisturising Scrub.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky smooth, soft, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly zesty Jasmine and Mimosa for at least an hour after I had used it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Sakura Shower Gel an eight out of ten, and the Lush Hanami Body Scrub a nine out of ten. I really liked the Lush Sakura Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly zesty Jasmine and Mimosa scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had actually smelt of Cherry Blossom.
