I definitely think that my sense of smell has changed over the years, especially when it comes to Floral and Gourmand Fragrances, as I used to hate anything that contained Jasmine, Tonka Bean or Ylang Ylang, and now I actually quite like them. That’s why when the guys at my local Lush store said that I had unlocked a Bottle of 29 High Street Perfume that contains a blend of Jasmine, Lemon, Lime, Tonka Bean and Vanilla and supposedly smells just like a Lush store as part of their Lush Club Rewards Scheme and asked me if I would like to redeem it, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

This warm, sweet and fruity Perfume evokes the fragrance that fills every Lush shop and the magic that spills out of every Door. Our In-House Perfumers have taken many of the beautiful Oils and Absolutes you’ll find in your favourite Lush Products to create a unique Perfume with a woody, balsamic Soul, a sweet and creamy Heart, lifted by a Citrus Zest. 29 High Street is the home of Lush and this Fragrance feels like Home.

Sicilian Lemon Oil and Lime Oil: offer a mouthwatering burst of citrus.

Leaving the World Lusher than we found it.

Contains a Grade of Ylang Ylang that is especially used in Fine Perfumery. Our supplier produces this Grade through a traditional continuous process that is powered by a Hybrid Still. They still incorporate Biomass Briquettes as a source of Fuel, significantly reducing the use of Wood to power the process. In 2024, they also introduced Personal Protective Equipment for Workers on their Ylang Plots.
The Lemon Oil inside comes from Sicilian Lemons leftover from the Food Industry, (particularly from the Winter Crop which is all the zestier!).
Organic Ethanol helps this Fragrance last longer on your Skin and supports Biodiversity on the Ground. It’s made from Regeneratively Farmed Sugar Cane produced with Renewable Energy in Brazil.

How to use.

Fragrance your Skin or Clothes with a few, well-placed spritzes. If applying after a Shower or Bath, we recommend letting the Skin cool before applying so that the Perfume sits better for longer.

How to store.

Store your Perfume somewhere cool and out of direct Sunlight between uses.

Flammable.

We use Alcohol to get this Fragrance from the Bottle to your Skin. Avoid getting hot under the Collar by taking care around Naked Flames and sources of ignition.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Organic Alcohol Denat, Fragrance, Water, Glycerin, Limonene, Linalool, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Ylang Ylang Oil, Sandalwood Oil, Jasmine Extract, Lime Oil, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Tonka Seed Extract, Anise Alcohol, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Salicylate, Citral, Citronellol, Coumarin, Eugenol, Farnesol, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Hydroxycitronellal, and Isoeugenol, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly zesty Ylang Ylang, Jasmine and Tonka scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured an entire Glass of Tonka Bean Infused Milk over a massive Pile of Ylang Ylang and Jasmine Petals.

It’s longevity.

I really liked how long this lasted on my Skin, as I sprayed a little bit of it on to my Wrists and Neck when I was getting ready at about eight o’clock in the Morning, and I could still strongly smell it on my Skin when I returned Home at about eight o’clock at Night.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short rectangular Glass Perfume Bottle with a metallic Spray Pump Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush 29 High Street Perfume a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly zesty Jasmine, Ylang Ylang and Tonka scent, it’s longevity, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Lemon and Lime, as apart from making the Ylang Ylang and Tomka smell slightly fresher, I couldn’t really smell them. I do however think that it smells exactly like the scent you smell whenever you walk into a Lush store though.
