Even though I haven’t been to see the Barbie Movie yet, and have no real plans to, i’ve been loving all of the excitement that the Movie has created. That’s why when I saw that Lush had released an x Barbie™ range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Barbie Bath Bath Bomb, a Barbie Bubble Bubble Bar, a Tub of Barbie Dream Sugar Scrub, a Tub of Barbie Jelly Jelly Mask, a Bottle of Barbie Pink Shampoo, and a Bottle of barbie x Lush Perfume, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all six delicious smelling products.

The Barbie Bath Bath Bomb.

A Bath time dream.

How to use.

The Lush x Barbie Barbie Bath Bath Bomb.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Cornstarch, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Fragrance, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Tonka Absolute, Coconut Milk Powder, Fair Trade Shea Butter, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Water, Titanium Dioxide, Jojoba Oil, Cream Of Tartar, Coconut Cream, Ruby Cocoa Liquor, Talc, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Tin Oxide, Coumarin, Geraniol, Limonene, Colour 45410:2, Colour 45410:1, Colour 77491, and Colour 77499, I thought that it had a delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly grassy Rose scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you snell whenever you deadhead a Rose Bush.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright White Foam all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous dark Pink all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful bright White Foam to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering neon Pink colour. I also really liked that once it had finally finished fizzing and hissing, that it released a little Pink Bath Melt that eventually melted and left behind some incredibly silky soft Water.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly grassy Rose for hours after I had used it.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine, Fragrance, Titanium Dioxide, Tonka Absolute, Almond Essential Oil, Olibanum Resinoid, Champaca Absolute, Sweet Wild Orange Oil, Cornstarch, Talc, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Alcohol, Citral, Coumarin, Limonene, Colour 45410:1, Colour 45410, Colour 45410:2, Colour 77491, and Colour 77499, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly fruity Cherry scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had dissolved a Drumstick Lolly into a massive Glass of Cherry Juice.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of minutes and had let my Bath fill all the way to the top, it created mounds of incredibly silky soft shimmering Hot Pink Bubbles that made it look like I was bathing in a sea of Candy Floss at midday.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly fruity Cherry for hours after I had used it.

The Lush x Barbie Barbie Dream Sugar Scrub.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Castor Sugar, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Fragrance, Organic Almond Oil, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Lemon Myrtle Oil, Persian Lime Oil, Ylang Ylang Oil, Ruby Cocoa Liquor, Titanium Dioxide, Lactic Acid, Talc, Lauryl Betaine, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Salicylate, Citral, Farnesol, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 45410:2, Colour 77491, and Colour 77499, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lemon scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a Refreshers Bar.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Sugar Scrub, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty Soap & Sugar Whipped Scrub rather than a thin and gritty yet ever so slightly creamy Sugar Scrub.

what it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty Soap & Sugar Whipped Scrub into a thin and gritty yet ever so slightly creamy Sugar Scrub that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky smooth, soft, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lemon for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical bright Pink Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush x Barbie Barbie Jelly Jelly Mask.

Its scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Calamine Powder, Glycerine, Propylene Glycol, Kaolin, Talc, Carrageenan Extract, Neroli Oil, Rose Absolute, Citral, Citronellol, Eugenol, Farnesol, Geraniol, Limonene, and Linalool, , I thought that it had a delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly zesty Rose scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had soaked some Rose Petals in a massive Bucket of Orange Juice.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Jelly Mask, I thought that it felt really tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy, and was more like a very tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy Ball of Rubber rather than a squishy and slimy yet ever so slightly watery Jelly Mask.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to swipe it across my Face, it ever so slowly started to melt and release lots of incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Serum all over my Skin that set within a matter of seconds. I also really liked that once I had left it to set for a couple of seconds, that all of the Oil turned into a thick and powdery Clay Face Mask which meant that I couldn’t actually move my Face.
To use it, it said that you had to pinch off a piece of the Mask, work it to a paste between dry, clean Hands, apply it to your Face and leave it for 5 to 10 minutes to work it’s magic. But I found that the best way to use it was to take the entire Mask out of its tub, and swipe it across my Face like a Facial Soap.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear, a little bit brighter and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical bright Pink Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush x Barbie Barbie Pink Shampoo.

Its scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Marshmallow Root Mucilage, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Fresh Beetroot Juice, , Cocomide MEA, Fragrance, Propylene Glycol, Fresh Strawberry Juice, Fresh Lemon Juice, Glycol Stearate, Carrageenan Extract, Persian Lime Oil, Camellia Oil, Water, Citric Acid, Titanium Dioxide, Talc, Synthetic Musk, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Limonene, Colour 17200, Colour 45410:2, Colour 77491, Colour 77499, Methylparaben, and Propylparaben, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Butterscotch and Candy Floss scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured some Butterscotch Syrup over a massive Bag of Candy Floss.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shampoo, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Facial Serum rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly creamy Shampoo.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Hair, it turned from an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Facial Serum into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly frothy Shampoo that spread really easily through my Hair.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Hair feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely volumised, really shiny, much healthier and smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Butterscotch and Candy Floss for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to turn my Hair Pink, but as I have quite dark Brown Hair and haven’t died my Hair in years, I wasn’t really afraid that it was going to do that in the first place.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Clear Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush x Barbie Barbie x Lush Perfume.

Its scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Alcohol Denat, Fragrance, Tonka Absolute, Almond Essential Oil, Olibanum Resinoid, Champaca Absolute, Sweet Wild Orange Oil, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Alcohol, Citral, Coumarin, Geraniol, Isoeugenol, Limomene, and Linalool, I thought that it had a very cloying sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly fruity Cherry scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had dissolved a Drumstick Lolly into a massive Glass of Cherry Juice.

It’s longevity.

I really liked how long this lasted on my Skin, as I sprayed a little bit of it on to my Wrists and Neck when I was getting ready at about eight o’clock in the morning, and I could still faintly smell it on my Skin when I sat down to have a Cup of Tea at about four o’clock in the Afternoon.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short rectangular Glass Perfume Bottle with a metallic Black Plastic Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush x Barbie Barbie Bath Bath Bomb an eight out of ten, the Lush x Barbie Barbie Bubble Bubble Bar an eight out of ten, the Lush x Barbie Barbie Dream Sugar Scrub a nine out of ten, the Lush x Barbie Barbie Jelly Jelly Mask a nine out of ten, the Lush x Barbie Barbie Pink Shampoo an eight out of ten, and the Lush x Barbie Barbie x Lush Perfume a five out of ten. I really liked the Lush x Barbie Barbie Bath Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly grassy Rose scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Rose. I really liked the Lush x Barbie Barbie Bubble Bubble Bar, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly fruity Cherry scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Cherry. I really liked the Lush x Barbie Barbie Dream Sugar Scrub, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lemon scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Lemon and Lime. I really liked the Lush x Barbie Barbie Jelly Jelly Mask, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly zesty Rose scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush x Barbie Pink Shampoo, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Butterscotch and Candy Floss scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I unfortunately found that it managed to stain my Hands, my Bath, and my Shower bright Pink every time that I used it. I really liked the Lush x Barbie Barbie x Lush Perfume, as I absolutely loved how long it lasted on my Skin, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very cloying sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly fruity Cherry scent.
