Shooting Off Into The Stratosphere | Lush Space Girl Body Spray

I absolutely love it whenever Lush releases new products in some of their retro scents, especially some of the ones that I only discovered that I liked after they’ve unfortunately been discontinued, like their Fizzbanger Bath Bomb, their Phoenix Rising Bath Bomb, and their Space Girl Bath Bomb. That’s why when I had heard that they had released a Space Girl Body Spray as part of their #LushLabs November 2020 range, I obviously had to hop on to their Website and pick it up. Well i’ve been wearing it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what lush say about their Space Girl Body Spray.

Sweet, playful and nostalgic. Take a ride into the sweet stratosphere, as the Bergamot and Grapefruit Oil combine with some of your favourite Sweet Treats from a bygone era. A sure fire stellar mood enhancer!

How to use.

Spritz all over your Body, avoiding the Underarm area, for a burst of Raspberry fun.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained DRF Alcohol, Fragrance, Limonene, Grapefruit Oil, Bergamot Oil, Almond Essential Oil, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Citral, Geraniol, and Linalool, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Blackcurrant and Violet scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Packet of Palma Violet Sweets into a massive Jug of Blackcurrant Juice.

It’s longevity.

I really liked how long this lasted on my Skin, as I sprayed a little bit of it on to my Wrists, Neck and Clothes when I was getting ready at about eight o’clock in the morning, and I could still strongly smell it on my Skin when I returned home at about seven o’clock in the evening.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall Black Plastic Kitchen Spray Bottle with a very tough lockable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Space Girl Body Spray a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Blackcurrant and Violet scent, it’s longevity, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more fruitier and that it was part of their main range.
