Like I said in my Lush Dia De Muertos 2024 range post, and my Lush Diwali 2024 range post, I absolutely love Lush’s Co-Create range, as I really like that it allows me to discover a little bit more about other people’s customs, religions and traditions whilst also discovering some cool and interesting products. That’s why when I had heard that they had released a Hanukkah 2024 range with some of the products being created by someone who works at Lush Manchester, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Block of Gelt Soap, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Rapeseed Oil, Coconut Oil, Glycerine, Propylene Glycol, Grapefruit Oil, Labdanum Resinoid, Dark Sumatran Patchouli Oil, Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Sodium Chloride, Titanium Dioxide, Citric Acid, Cornstarch, Sodium Hydroxide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Sodium Bicarbonate, EDTA, Silica, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Tin Oxide, Coumarin, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 47005, Colour 77491, and Colour 14700, I thought that it had a delicious deep and chocolatey yet ever so slightly spicy Chocolate and Ginger scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Bar of some Vegan Orange & Ginger Dark Chocolate.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds and had started to massage it into my Skin, it started to create a really thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy lather that spread really easily across my Hands.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Hands feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left them smelling of delicious deep and chocolatey yet ever so slightly spicy Chocolate and Ginger for at least fifteen minutes after I had used it.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Gelt Soap an eight out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and chocolatey yet ever so slightly spicy Chocolate and Ginger scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had actually smelt of Vegan Chocolate Orange instead of smelling of Chocolate and Ginger.
