A Mixture Of Urea & Cica Is Great For Dry & Rough Skin | Mixa Urea Cica Repair+ Renewing Cream | Gifted

I’ve been struggling with quite a lot of dry, rough and bumpy Skin lately, especially on my Arms, Elbows, Feet and Legs, which means that i’ve been on the lookout for anything that will return them to their usually incredibly silky soft, smooth and moisturised-feeling former self. That’s why when the guys over at Mixa very kindly asked me if I would like to try a Tub of their Urea Cica Repair+ Renewing Cream that claims to use French Skincare Technology and a blend of 10% Urea and Amino Acid to leave you with silky soft, smooth and deeply moisturised Skin, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

How to use.

Apply daily and generously on the Body, Face, and Hands. Do not apply on Irritated Skin.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Urea, Glycerin, Mineral Oil, Propylene Glycol, Shea Butter, Cetearyl Alcohol, Alcohol Denat, Corn Starch, Sunflower Seed Oil, Glyceryl Stearate, Peg-100 Stearate, Glycine, Dimethicone, Carbomer, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Lactate, Hydroxyethylpiperazine Ethane, Sulfonic Acid, Caprylyl Glycol, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Xanthan Gum, Tocopherol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Phenoxyethanol, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a very subtile fresh and floral yet ever so slightly medicinal Orange Blossom scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking past someone who’s wearing some Orange Blossom Perfume on a Hospital Ward on a balmy Spring Afternoon.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body Cream, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gloopy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gloopy Body Butter rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Body Cream.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gloopy Body Butter into a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Body Cream that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Body, Face and Hands feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, calm, refreshed, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left them looking extremely glowing, radiant and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes, and in some cases actually managed to calm, sooth and hydrate them whenever I was in the middle of an Eczema Flare-Up.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Mixa Urea Cica Repair+ Renewing Cream a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s very subtile fresh and floral yet ever so slightly medicinal Orange Blossom scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was available in some other scents, like Cherry, Lemon, or maybe even Peppermint.
