Discovering The Calming Effects Of Madagascar | Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule

I definitely think that one of the reasons that my Skin hasn’t had a major Eczema Flare-Up in so long is because of all the Japanese and Korean Skincare that i’ve been using lately, as most of it contains Centella Asiatica, also known as Tiger Grass, in some way, shape or form. That’s why when I saw that Skin1004 had released a Madagascar Centella Ampoule that claims to leave you with silky soft, soothed, calm and hydrated Skin whilst I was scrolling through Superdrug’s Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A tall cylindrical clear glass bottle full of some golden yellow liquid with a bright white Rubber Pipette lid and a bright white label that has Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule written in bold black writing on it, on a white background.

Product benefits.

Soothing and hydrating.

Suitable for.

Suitable for all Skin Types, especially dry and delicate Skin.

How to use.

Drop an appropriate amount on to your Palms and evenly apply to the Skin. Pat to promote absorption.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, 1,2-Hexanediol, Butylene Glycol, Centella Asiatica Extract, Panthenol, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Disodium EDTA, and Citric Acid, I thought that it had a very subtile sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly grassy Tiger Grass scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured an entire Glass of Whole Milk over a massive pile of Tiger Grass Leaves.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called an Ampoule, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly milky, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly milky Milky Toner rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Ampoule.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly milky Milky Toner into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Facial Essence that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, calm, refreshed, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, less red and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes, and in some cases actually managed to sooth, calm and hydrate them whenever I was in the middle of a Flare-Up.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Clear Plastic Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s very subtile sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly grassy Tiger Grass scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had contained a little bit more Centella Asiatica to leave my Skin feeling even more soft, calm and soothed.
