I Wish That Heaven Had Visiting Hours | Lush Spa Range

I’ve been meaning to book some kind of a Lush Spa Treatment for quite a while now, but for some strange reason I just haven’t gotten around to doing it yet. That’s why when I saw that they had released a Spa range that includes a range of Bath Bombs, Foot Soaks and Shower Jellies that are all used in some of their bestselling Spa Treatments so that you can create your own Lush Spa Treatment at Home, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Tub of The Good Hour Shower Jelly, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A short cylindrical glossy, translucent bright emerald green block of shower jelly that has some small air bubbles running through it, on a white background.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerin, Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, Carrageenan Extract, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Peppermint Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Spearmint Oil, White Camphor Oil, Witch Hazel Extract, Gardenia Extract, Arnica Flower Extract, Cypress Leaf Extract, Devil’s Claw Root Extract, Eucalyptus Extract, Hydroxycitronellal, Limonene, Linalool, Benzyl Benzoate, Fragrance, and Colour 42090, I thought that it had a delicious deep and minty yet ever so slightly grassy Peppermint and Eucalyptus scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured an entire Bottle of Eucalyptus Oil over a massive Pile of crushed up Mint Leaves.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Jelly, I thought that it felt incredibly tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy, and was more like an incredibly tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy Ball of Rubber rather than a squishy and slimy yet ever so slightly watery Shower Jelly.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage it into my Skin, it started to release lots of incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body. I also really liked that as I was massaging it into my Skin, that it released little droplets of White Camphor Oil, Arnica Flower Extract and Peppermint Oil all over my Body that created a really nice and relaxing cooling sensation.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, soothed, relaxed, refreshed, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and minty yet ever so slightly grassy Peppermint and Eucalyptus for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it managed to calm down and sooth any sore Muscles, aches and pains, or bumps and bruises that I had.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Clear Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush The Good Hour Shower Jelly a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and minty yet ever so slightly grassy Peppermint and Eucalyptus scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just think that £9 is a little bit too much to spend on a Block of Shower Jelly, even if it does contain things like White Camphor Oil, Arnica Flower Extract, and Devils Claw Root Extract to help you with sore and tired Muscles.
