Two Amazing The Body Shop events

Hi all my wonderful readers. I hope you’re all having a fantastic day.

A couple of weeks ago I was invited to not one, but two different The Body Shop events, and I thought I would share with you what happened.

Let me start with the first event that was held at The Body Shop, The White Rose Centre Leeds

The Body Shop, The White Rose Shopping Center.

Upon arriving at The White Rose Shopping Centre, we immediately headed to The Body Shop’s beautiful store. Their store was beautiful and perfectly laid out. There was nice open spaces with little tables dotted around. Perfect for the guy who walks into just about anything, haha.

Once we entered, we promptly found a wonderfully helpful staff member who asked if we was ok and if we needed any help. We told her hi, and that we were here for a blogging event. She walked off and went to check if we were there at the right time.

We walked around the store for a little while and found the new Fuji Green Tea range. After a few moments we were greeted by a really nice woman called Theresa, she was another blogger and we got chatting. After about 20 minutes Kellie arrived and she completed our little bloggers group.

Tom from The Body Shop, The White Rose Shopping Centre

After about 20 minutes or so we were greeted by another lovely staff member called Tom who was going to be our host for the event He said hello and started to tell us all about the focus of the event, the new Fuji Green Tea range.

He told us all about where the Fuji Green Tea had come from and it’s healing and relaxation purposes. After that another one of the wonderful staff members, Shannon appeared and offered us some really tasty green tea.

Virgin Mojito from The Body Shop

Tom then continued talking about the range and occasionally demonstrating on all of us the different products. After trying out all the different products, we started to talk about some of the upcoming releases including an extremely nice Vitamin E range and an absolutely to die for Virgin Mojito range, oh the smell it is perfect and trust me, come the end of May you’ll all be smelling of this, uh!

New Eye Shaddows from The Body Shop

We then somehow all got to talking about their new make up ranges. Kellie made an excellent point that, when you think of The Body Shop, you don’t really think of make up. The Body Shop’s make up really is amazing and you really have to check them out. Their new eyeliners and shadows are out of this world. The pigment payoff is fantastic.

After about 15 minutes or so Kellie said she had to leave, so me, Theresa and Jamie chatted for a little, discussing blogging, camera set up, and social media problems.

Theresa said goodbye and me being the shopping addict I am, I had to pick up a little something. I had an amazing time, and I just want to say a big massive thank you to, Leah, Tom and Shannon for being so accommodating and helpful.

As I said at the beginning, I also got invited to another The Body Shop event. This time it was held at The Body Shop Leeds Briggate store.

After walking into their massive store we was soon greeted by a really friendly staff member. We said that we were here for the blogging event. She rushed off and found a member of staff called Rosie who was going to be our host.

We did feel a little awkward as the store was pretty much dead and we were the only bloggers there.

We were greeted and shown to a lovely little table right in the middle of the store.

All of the Fuji Green Tea range from The Body Shop

She started to tell us all about the new Fuji Green Tea range and all of it’s properties. She told us all about where the green tea came from and she also talked us through each individual products and what they are best used for.

She then asked if we would like a cup of green tea and a hand massage. I gladly accepted both.

She took my right hand and placed it on the beautifully laid out table. She started by using the Fuji Green Tea Body Scrub to scrub my hand to within an inch of it’s life. She then used some of the Fuji Green Tea Body Butter to make my hands feel as soft as a baby. Then last but by no means least she sprayed a little of the Fuji Green Tea Eau De Cologne on my wrist and told me to rub them both together. She then asked me to take a look at the difference between my right hand to my left hand. I could certainly tell the difference between the baby softness of my right hand to the not so softness of my left. I could certainly see what has all The Body Shop staff so in love with the Fuji Green Tea range.

Rosie then said goodbye and thank you for coming and if we needed anything to just ask.

I did manage to pick up a few more things to add to my Fuji Green Tea collection, but that’s for Wednesday’s post.

I would just like to say a massive thank you to the Leeds Briggate The Body Shop for inviting me, and I had a fantastic time.

There you have it. That’s what happened at both of the amazing The Body Shop event that I got invited to.

Don’t forget to come back on Wednesday for my review of all the fantastic Fuji Green Tea range.
