I absolutely love starting my day off with a nice strong Mug of Tea and a couple of slices of Toast, as it usually keeps me going until I have my Lunch at about midday. That’s why when the guys over at WeeKett very kindly asked me if I would like to try one of their Matching 2 Slices Toasters that claims to match their WeeKett Smart Wi-Fi Kettle, I of corse said yes. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s set up.
I really liked how easy it was to set up, as once I had opened it’s Box, had removed it from the layers of protective packaging that it was encased in, including a Plastic Bag around the Toaster itself and several layers of Polystyrene, and had plugged it in, it was ready to use.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had placed a Slice of Bread into one of it’s slots and had pushed down it’s lever, it made a little clicking noise before it started to cook my Toast, and then after a couple of minutes it made another clicking noise before popping my Toast out of it’s slot again.
I also really liked that I could very quickly cancel it’s cooking progress by just pressing it’s Cancel Button, that I could reheat my Toast whenever it had gone cold, and that I could quickly defrost a couple of slices of Bread instead of having to defrost the entire Loaf using it’s defrost function.
Another thing that I really liked about this, was it’s Cord Storage and removable Crumb Tray, as it’s Cord Storage meant that I didn’t have to have a massive Cord or Plug cluttering up my Worktop, and it’s removable Crumb Tray meant that I could easily keep it clean and remove any crumbs without making too much mess.
The only thing that I didn’t really like about this, was it’s variable Browning Controls, as even though it was great to be able to choose how brown my Toast got, it was just one massive Dial that continuously spun and would have been nice if it had stopped or clicked after each turn to signal how long it was going to cook for.
It’s design.
I really liked it’s design, as the main Toaster itself was made out of a really smooth and shiny Metal, it’s Dial and Lever were made out of a very thick and smooth matte Plastic, and it’s Buttons were all made out of a very soft and smooth semi-matte Plastic that looked beautiful sat on my Kitchen Cabinet.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the WeeKett Matching 2 Slices Toaster an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s incredibly quick and easy set up, what it did when I used it, and it’s design, but I just wish that it’s Dial had made some kind of clicking noise when I turned it so that I knew how many minutes it was going to cook for.
