Yankee Candle have recently released their Après Ski collection, which includes, Holiday Winter Fest, Santa On Skis, Slopeside Spritz, Summit Stargazing, and Vanilla Flurries, and being the Candle addict that I am, as soon as I had heard that they had been released, I obviously had to hop on to their Website and pick them all up. Well i’ve been burning them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Yankee Candle say about all five delicious smelling Candles.

The Yankee Candle Holiday Winter Fest.

Your ski lodge holiday is about to begin, scents of sparkling citrus, fresh herbs and pine fill the air with a sense of celebration. Yankee Candle Holiday Winter Fest also contains top notes of Sparkling Citrus, Twinkling Lights and Fresh Herbs, heart notes of Sappy Needles, Pinecones and Lemon Zest, and base notes of Balsam Needle, Fresh Pine and Sweet Bourbon.

The Yankee Candle Santa On Skis.

Move over, Rudolph. Santa is geared up and ready to hit the Slopes, leaving notes of Clove Bud, tart Berries, and Vanilla in his wake. Yankee Candle Santa On Skis also contains top notes of Muddled Blueberry, Cardamom and Basil, heart notes of Black Pepper, Clove Bud and Tart Berry, and base notes of Mulled Wine Accord, Vanilla and Warm Woods.

The Yankee Candle Slopeside Spritz.

Notes of Rose, Grapefruit, and sparkling Prosecco make you fizzy with excitement as you toast the Holiday Slopeside. Yankee Candle Slopeside Spritz also contains top notes of Apple, Rhubarb and Pineapple, heart notes of Boozy Notes, Rose and Grapefruit, and base notes of Sparkling Prosecco.

The Yankee Candle Summit Stargazing.

On a cold Mountain Night, you catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights, with opalescent fragrances of Rainbow Berries, Winter Tuberose, and Candied Violet, leaving you in awe. Yankee Candle Summit Stargazing also contains top notes of Meyer Lemon, Rainbow Berries and Petitgrain, heart notes of Winter Tuberose, Winter Jasmine and Iridescent Opal, and base notes of Iced Amber, Candied Violet and Hinoki Woods.

The Yankee Candle Vanilla Flurries.

Fluffy Snowflakes have never felt more inviting, scents of Sugared Vanilla crystals, sweet Amber, and Vetiver wrap around you like a Cashmere Blanket. Yankee Candle Vanilla Flurries also contains top notes of Peach, Coconut and Vanilla, heart notes of Sugar Crystals, Orris and Amber, and base notes of Vetiver, Oak Moss and Leather.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Twinkling Lights, Pinecones, and Fresh Pine, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and grassy yet ever so slightly fruity Pine scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Christmas Punch whilst walking through a Pine Forest on a freezing cold Winter’s Day. I could definitely smell the Twinkling Lights, Fresh Herbs, Sappy Needles, Pinecones, Balsam Needle, Fresh Pine, and Sweet Bourbon, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious sweet and grassy yet ever so slightly fruity Pine scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Sparkling Citrus or Lemon Zest, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent throw.

I really liked it’s scent throw, as this managed to fill my Room, the entire top floor of my House and even some of the downstairs with it’s delicious sweet and grassy yet ever so slightly fruity Pine scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 150 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my Wicks trimmed, I easily got at least 155 hours of delicious sweet and grassy yet ever so slightly sweet Pine scent out of it.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Cardamon, Clove Bud, and Mulled Wine Accord, I thought that it had a delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Blueberry scent to it that kind of reminded me of eating a massive Slice of freshly-baked Blueberry Pie that’s been covered in some Double Cream for Dessert on Christmas Day. I could definitely smell the Muddled Blueberry, Cardamom, Clove Bud, Tart Berry, and Vanilla, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Blueberry scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Basil, , Black Pepper, Mulled Wine Accord, or Warm Woods, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent throw.

I really liked it’s scent throw, as this managed to fill my Room and the entire top floor of my House with it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Blueberry scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.

It’s burn time.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Rhubarb, Rose, and Sparkling Prosecco, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Grapefruit and Rose scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Grapefruit Mimosa that’s been garnished with a Rose Petal on a balmy Summer Night. I could definitely smell the Pineapple, Boozy Notes, Rose, Grapefruit, and Sparkling Prosecco, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Grapefruit and Rose scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Apple or Rhubarb, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent throw.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Rainbow Berries, Winter Jasmine, and Candied Violet, I thought that it had a very strange fresh and floral yet ever so slightly fruity Petitgraine scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking past a Petitgrain Tree after it’s just finished raining on a balmy Autumn Afternoon. I could definitely smell the Petitgrain, Winter Tuberose, Winter Jasmine, Iced Amber, and Candied Violet, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s very strange fresh and floral yet ever so slightly fruity Petitgrain scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Meyer Lemon, Rainbow Berries, Iridescent Opal, or Henoki Woods, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent throw.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent throw, as even though this smelt incredibly strong in it’s Jar, it was unfortunately one of those scents that I only really noticed once I had gone out of and had come back into the Room again.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 150 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my Wicks trimmed, I easily got at least 160 hours of very strange fresh and floral yet ever so slightly fruity Petitgrain scent out of it.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Coconut, Orris, and Leather, I thought that it had a very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly alcoholic Vanilla scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk past a Woman who’s wearing some very cheap Vanilla Perfume on a boiling hot Summer’s Day. I could definitely smell the Coconut, Vanilla, Orris, Amber, Vetiver, and Oakmoss, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly alcoholic Vanilla scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Peach, Sugar Crystals, or Leather, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent throw.

I really liked it’s scent throw, as this managed to fill my Room and the entire top floor of my House with it’s very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly alcoholic Vanilla scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Yankee Candle Holiday Winter Fest an eight point five out of ten, the Yankee Candle Santa On Skis an eight out of ten, the Yankee Candle Slopeside Spritz a nine out of ten, the Yankee Candle Summit Stargazing a six out of ten, and the Yankee Candle Vanilla Flurries a six point five out of ten. I really liked the Yankee Candle Holiday Winter Fest, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and grassy yet ever so slightly fruity Pine scent, it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Lemon Zest. I really liked the Yankee Candle Santa On Skis, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Blueberry scent, it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Clove Bud. I really liked the Yankee Candle Slopeside Spritz, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Grapefruit and Rose scent, it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Yankee Candle Summit Stargazing, as I absolutely loved it’s burn time, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange fresh and floral yet ever so slightly fruity Petitgrain scent and also wish that it’s scent throw had been a little bit stronger. I really liked the Yankee Candle Vanilla Flurries, as I absolutely loved it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly alcoholic Vanilla scent.
