Yankee Candle have recently released their Countdown to Christmas collection, which includes Christmas Eve Cocoa, Letters To Santa, Merry Berry, Tree Farm Festival, and Twinkling Lights, and being the Candle addict that I am, as soon as I had heard that they had been released, I obviously had to hop on to their Website and pick them all up. Well i’ve been burning them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what Yankee Candle say about all five delicious smelling Candles.
Yankee Candle Christmas Eve Cocoa.
A Christmas classic becomes a new tradition with an over-the-top Cocoa Bar. Sweet Vanilla scents blend with notes of Praline and Mint to create a tempting treat to share with Family and Friends. Yankee Candle Christmas Eve Cocoa also contains top notes of Citrus, Vetiver, Mint, Marjoram and Clove, heart notes of Sandalwood, Vanilla Blossom, Geranium and Tuberose, and base notes of White Woods, Praline Musk and Patchouli.
Yankee Candle Letters To Santa.
A familiar scent that’s altogether new, notes of Papery Woods and Amber are sweetened by Sugared Musk scents to evoke the excitement of writing to Santa for both young and old. Yankee Candle Letters To Santa also contains top notes of Solar Cinnamon, Sunshine and Lemondrop, heart notes of Solar Accord, Coconut, Sandalwood and Sugared Musk, and base notes of Amber, Praline and Handwritten Letters.
Yankee Candle Merry Berry.
Aromas of Sugared Plum and Raspberry notes blend with scents of Butter Cookie while you bake cherished recipes to share with Family and Friends, a tradition for years to come. Yankee Candle Merry Berry also contains top notes of Honeybell Orange, Zesty Lemon and Dried Apricot, heart notes of Sugared Plum, Raspberry and Blueberry, and base notes of Butter Cookie, Vanilla and Tonka Bean.

Immerse yourself in the Festive Spirit with Family and Friends as enticing scents of Pine, Vetiver and Gardenia transport you to a local Tree Farm Festival. Yankee Candle Tree Farm Festival also contains top notes of Pine Needle and Violet Leaves, heart notes of Cedarwood, Gardenia and Magnolia, and base notes of Vetiver, Sandalwood and Musk.
Yankee Candle Twinkling Lights.
With the first string of Twinkling Lights, it’s time to deck the Halls with a festive blend of Almond, Jasmine and Amber notes. Yankee Candle Twinkling Lights also contains top notes of Almond and Peach, heart notes of Milk, Jasmine and Frangipani, and base notes of Vanilla, Sandalwood and Cedarwood.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Mint, Tuberose, and Patchouli, I thought that it had a delicious deep and chocolatey yet ever so slightly creamy Milk Chocolate scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you melt a Bar of Milk Chocolate to make a Mug of Hot Cocoa. I could definitely smell the Vetiver, Marjoram, Clove, Sandalwood, Vanilla, White Woods, and Praline, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious deep and chocolatey yet ever so slightly creamy Milk Chocolate scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Citrus, Mint, Geranium or Tuberose, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.
It’s scent throw.
I really liked it’s scent throw, as this managed to fill my room, the entire top floor of my House and even some of the downstairs with it’s delicious deep and chocolatey yet ever so slightly creamy Milk Chocolate scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.
It’s burn time.
It said that you were supposed to get up to 150 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my Wick trimmed, I easily got at least 160 hours of delicious deep and chocolatey yet ever so slightly creamy Milk Chocolate scent out of it.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Lemondrop, Coconut, and Praline, I thought that it had a delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly fizzy Cola scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had mixed some Spoons of Allspice, Cinnamon, Cloves and Nutmeg into a massive Glass of Cola. I could definitely smell the Solar Cinnamon, Solar Accord, Coconut, Sandalwood, Sugar Musk, Amber, and Praline, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly fizzy Cola scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Sunshine, Lemondrop or Handwritten Letters, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.
It’s scent throw.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Dried Apricot, Blueberry, and Tonka Bean, I thought that it had a delicious rich and buttery yet ever so slightly fruity Cookie scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent of a batch of Raspberry & White Chocolate Cookies fresh out of the Oven. I could definitely smell the Dried Apricot, Sugared Plum, Raspberry, Blueberry, Butter Cookie, Vanilla, and Tonka Bean, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious rich and buttery yet ever so slightly fruity Cookie scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Honeyball Orange or Zesty Lemon, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Violet Leaves, Magnolia, and Vetiver, I thought that it had a very strange deep and grassy yet ever so slightly synthetic Pine scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had doused an Artificial Christmas Tree in some Pine Oil and then had set it on Fire. I could definitely smell the Pine Needle, Cedarwood, Magnolia, Vetiver, Sandalwood, and Musk, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s very strange deep and grassy yet ever so slightly synthetic Pine scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Violet Leaves or Gardenia, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

I really liked it’s scent throw, as even though it smelt incredibly strong in it’s Jar, it was actually one of those scents that I only really noticed once I had gone out of and had come back into the Room again.

It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Peach, Frangipani, and Sandalwood, I thought that it had a very rich and creamy yet ever so slightly floral Cocoa Butter scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you heat up a massive Block of Solid Cocoa Butter. I could definitely smell the Almond, Milk, Jasmine, Frangipani, Sandalwood, and Cedarwood, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s very rich and creamy yet ever so slightly floral Cocoa Butter scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Peach or Vanilla, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

I really liked it’s scent throw, as this managed to fill both my Room and the entire top floor of my House with it’s very rich and creamy yet ever so slightly floral Cocoa Butter scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.

My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Yankee Candle Christmas Eve Cocoa a nine point five out of ten, the Yankee Candle Letters To Santa a nine out of ten, the Yankee Candle Merry Berry a nine out of ten, the Yankee Candle Tree Farm Festival a seven out of ten, and the Yankee Candle Twinkling Lights a seven out of ten. I really liked the Yankee Candle Christmas Eve Cocoa, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and chocolatey yet ever so slightly creamy Milk Chocolate scent, it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I just wish that it had smelt even more of Chocolate. I really liked the Yankee Candle Letters To Santa, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly fizzy Cola scent, it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit spicier. I really liked the Yankee Candle Merry Berry, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious rich and buttery yet ever so slightly fruity Cookie scent, it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit fruitier. I really liked the Yankee Candle Tree Farm Festival, as I absolutely loved it’s very subtile scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange deep and grassy yet ever so slightly synthetic Pine scent. I really liked the Yankee Candle Twinkling Lights, as I absolutely loved it’s extremely strong scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very rich and creamy yet ever so slightly floral Cocoa Butter scent.
