Yankee Candle have recently released their Magical Bright Lights collection , which includes Holiday Cheer, Magical Bright Lights, Shimmering Christmas Tree, and Sparkling Winterberry, and being the Candle addict that I am, as soon as I had heard that they had been released, I obviously had to hop on to their Website and pick them all up. Well i’ve been burning them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Yankee Candle say about all four delicious smelling Candles.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Liquorice, Blackberry Wine, and Vanilla Sugar, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly biscuity Plum and Blackberry scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you take a Batch of Plum and Blackberry Cookies out of the Oven. I could definitely smell the Cardamom, Liquorice, Plum, Blackberry Wine, and Vanilla Sugar, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly biscuity Plum and Blackberry scent, , but I couldn’t really smell any of the Pepper, Orchid, Amber, or Tonka Bean, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent throw.

I was actually a little bit disappointed by it’s scent throw, as even though this smelt incredibly strong in it’s Jar, it was unfortunately one of those scents that I only really noticed once I had gone out of and had come back into the Room again.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 150 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my Wick trimmed, I easily got at least 155 hours of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly biscuity Plum and Blackberry scent out of it.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Frozen Pear, Coconut, and Vanilla, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly oceanic Frozen Air scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking down the Street after it’s just snowed on a freezing cold Winter’s Day. I could definitely smell the Frozen Pear, Mint Leaf, Coconut, Moss, Sandalwood, and Vanilla, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly oceanic Frozen Air scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Peach, Jasmine, or Amber, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Bergamot, Eucalyptus, and Patchouli, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and grassy yet ever so slightly oceanic Pine scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking through a Pine Forest on a freezing cold Winter’s Day. I could definitely smell the Sparkling Aldehydes, Dewy Greens, Fur Needle, Eucalyptus, Fur Balsam, and Patchouli, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious fresh and grassy yet ever so slightly oceanic Pine scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Bergamot, Lavender, or Warm Spices, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Pink Pineapple, Fur Balsam, and White Moss, I thought that it had a delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Pomegranate scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Pomegranate Mulled Wine on a freezing cold Winter’s Day. I could definitely smell the Apple, Pomegranate, Winterberry, Juniper Berries, Fur Balsam, Snow-Covered Cedar, and White Moss, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Pomegranate scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Pink Pineapple, Spearmint, or Musk, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent throw.

I really liked it’s scent throw, as this managed to fill my Room, the entire top floor of my House and even some of the downstairs with it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Pomegranate scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Yankee Candle Holiday Cheer an eight out of ten, the Yankee Candle Magical Bright Lights an eight point five out of ten, the Yankee Candle Shimmering Christmas Tree an eight out of ten, and the Yankee Candle Sparkling Winterberry a nine out of ten. I really liked the Yankee Candle Holiday Cheer, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly biscuity Plum and Blackberry scent, and it’s burn time, but I just wish that it’s scent throw had been a little bit stronger.
