Our Dad’s The Head Of The Family | Lush Father’s Day 2018 Range

As you probably already know, I absolutely love it whenever Lush releases one of their limited edition ranges. That’s why when I had heard that they had released their Father’s Day 2018 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up the Fun For All The Family Bubble Spinner and the Moustachio Soap, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

here’s what Lush say about both amazing smelling products.

The Fun For All The Family Bubble Spinner.

The Bath might not be big enough for two but this Bubble Bar is. The Sherbet Sheriff is in Town and this Bubble slinging Spinner is a real straight shooter with uplifting Lime and soothing Olibanum. Hold and spin under the running Water to whip up peaks of mood-brightening sweet Orange Oil Bubbles before popping on the side to dry ready for the next Family member, if you are willing to share that is!

The Moustachio Soap.

Would your Father rather a lather that’s Palm Oil free and handmade? Stimulating fresh Mint infusion and Spearmint Oil, alongside Menthol Crystals invigorates while Thyme gently cleanses and refreshes. Grab one or mix and match all three, there is a Soap for everyone and making Faces is encouraged.

You’ll receive a random Moustachio Soap when you order but if you really want to have some fun mixing them up and making Faces then add at least three to your basket and we’ll do our best to try and send you one of each colour.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained fresh Orange Juice, Sweet Wild Orange Oil, Lime Oil, and Olibanum Resinoid, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lime scent to it that kind of reminded me of their Never Mind The Ballistics Bath Bomb.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had spun it under some running Water and had let my Bath fill all the way to the top, it filled my Bath full of sparkling pastel Blue Bubbles that made it look like I was bathing in a Sea of incredibly silky Clouds at Twilight. I also really liked that it actually spun, as I had never used a Bubble Spinner before and was actually quite sceptical about it working, but luckily it did actually spin.

It’s results.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s results, as even though it left my Skin smelling of delicious fresh and zingy yet ever so slightly creamy Lime scent for hours after I had used it, I did find that it left my Skin feeling a little bit on the dry side, as I had to use quite a lot of Body Lotion once I had gotten out of my Bath.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained fresh Mint Infusion, Spearmint Oil, Menthol Crystals, Thyme Oil, and Powdered Charcoal, I thought that it had a gorgeous and invigorating yet ever so slightly earthy and grassy Mint scent to it that kind of reminded me of their Dirty Spring Wash Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had ran it under some Water and had started to massage it between my Hands, it created a gorgeous thick and creamy lather that felt more like a loose and thin Hand Cream rather than a block of Soap. I also really liked that after I had used it for a little while, that the Menthol Crystals released themselves and gave my Hands a good but gentle scrub. I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s colour though, as with me getting a block of the Blue version rather than the Red or Yellow version, I found that it left little Blue puddles all over my Windowsill whenever I used it.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Hands feeling incredibly squeaky clean, soft and moisturised, but it also left my Hands smelling of gorgeous and invigorating yet ever so slightly earthy and grassy Mint for at least 10 minutes after I had used it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Fun For All The Family Bubble Spinner a seven point five out of ten, and the Lush Moustachio Soap a nine out of ten. I really liked the Lush Fun For All The Family Bubble Spinner, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lime scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I would have loved it to have left my Skin feeling a little bit more moisturised. I also really liked the Lush Moustachio Soap, as I absolutely loved it’s gorgeous invigorating yet ever so slightly earthy and grassy Mint scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just didn’t like that it left little Blue puddles all over my Windowsill.
