It’s always been a very small range, and will probably always remain a small range, but I absolutely love it whenever Lush releases their Father’s Day range, as it usually means that we get to see some fresh and zesty, grassy or masculine smelling products. That’s why when I had heard that they had released their Father’s Day 2024 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Super Dad Bath Bomb, and a Block of Shower With Fun Fun, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what Lush say about both delicious smelling products.
The Lush Super Dad Bath Bomb.
Baths to astonish.
Is it a Bird? Is it a Plane? No, it’s Super Dad! From warm Bath Waters emerge the reviving powers of Bergamot and Cananga, here to save the day from ordinary Bath Times for good!
How to use.
Not all Heroes wear Capes, some will cloak themselves in cheerfully uplifting Bathwater instead. Just drop this one in your Tub, and soar away into serenity.
How to store.
Store in a cool, dry place until you’re ready for a quick Costume change into your Super Suit.
The Lush Shower With Fun Fun.
4-in-1 to get the job done.
Shower your everything, and shower it with Fun! Colour-coded so you know where to wash! Yellow has Seaweed to soften Hair, Green’s got a gentle Ground White Rice Scrub for your Shoulders and Back, Purple’s peppered with Tagua Nut Powder to exfoliate your Feet, and Blue’s for everywhere in between!
How to use.
Pinch off a small piece and lather up. Whether you’re hydrating your Hair, scrubbing your Back and Body, or giving Feet some TLC, this has got it all.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Cornstarch, Violet Leaf Absolute, Pakistani Rose Absolute, Bergamot Oil, Cananga Oil, Water, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Dipropylene Glycol, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Alcohol, Coumarin, Hexyl Cinnamal, Limonene, Fragrance, Colour 42090, Colour 47005:1, Colour 14700, and Colour 17200, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly grassy Violet scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Packet of Palma Violet Sweets.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful dark blue all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous bright Red and Yellow all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful dark Blue to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering dark Blue colour.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly grassy Violet for hours after I had used it.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Cornstarch, Talc, Glycerine, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Limonene, Tagua Nut Powder, Grapefruit Oil, Rosemary Oil, Geranium Oil, Bergamot Oil, Lemongrass Oil, Violet Leaf Absolute, Pakistani Rose Absolute, Cananga Oil, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Lemon Myrtle Oil, Rosewood Oil, Ground White Rice, Carrageenan Extract, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Alcohol, Citral, Citronellol, Coumarin, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 47005:1, Colour 42090, and Colour 17200, I thought that the Blue piece had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly Menthol Lemon scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Packet of Lockets Cough Sweets, that the Green piece had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly grassy Lemon Myrtle scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Lemonade on a boiling hot Summer’s Day, that the Purple piece had a delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly grassy Violet scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Packet of Palma Violet Sweets, and that the Yellow piece had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sour Lemon scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you cut into a Lemon.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Soap, I thought that it felt incredibly soft and squishy, and was more like a soft and squishy block of Plasticine rather than a hard and solid block of Soap.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from a soft and squishy block of Plasticine into a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body. I also really liked that the Green piece contained little pieces of Ground White Rice that gave my Skin a very deep but fine scrub, that the Purple contained little pieces of Tagua Nut Powder that gave my Feet a very fine but gentle scrub, and that the Yellow piece created a really thick and creamy lather when I used it as a Shampoo.
It’s results.
I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin, Hair and Feet feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left them smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly menthol Lemon, delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly grassy Lemon Myrtle, delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly grassy Violet, and delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sour Lemon for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came wrapped in a piece of incredibly thick Grease-Proof Paper that kept it really fresh until I was ready to use it, I would have preferred it if each individual piece had come in some kind of a Plastic Tub.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Super Dad Bath Bomb a nine point five out of ten, and the Lush Shower With Fun Fun an eight point five out of ten. I really liked the Lush Super Dad Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly grassy Violet scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush Shower With Fun Fun, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly menthol Lemon, delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly grassy Lemon Myrtle, delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly grassy Violet, and delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sour Lemon scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that each individual piece had come in some kind of a Tub instead of just being wrapped in some Grease-Proof Paper.
