As you probably already know, I love a good face mask, and after using quite a few of Lush’s face masks, someone recommended I try their Oatifix , and after using it for quite a while, I thought I would tell you what I thought of it.Lush describe Oatifix as being a gentle, nourishing face mask made with fresh Bananas and Illipe butter, to nourish dry skin, and Oatmeal, Ground Almonds, and Kaolin, to mildly exfoliate your skin to leave it feeling soft, supple, and moisturised.
I absolutely hated the smell of Oatifix, as it kind of reminded me of off Bananas, and sour Milk. I get that the off Banana scent came from the fresh Bananas, but i’m unsure where the sour Milk scent came from.
The texture of Oatifix kind of reminded me of Don’t Look At Me, as it had little scrubbing particles, just like Don’t Look At Me, which I guess was the ground Almonds, but it was also extremely moisturising, which I guess had something to do with the Illipe butter.
I absolutely loved the results Oatifix gave me, as after just one use, it left my skin feeling extremely clean, but moisturised. It also got rid of a few blemishes I had, which after one use, I thought was pretty impressive.
Overall I would have to rate Lush Oatifix, a seven point five out of ten. I absolutely loved the results that it gave me, and I love that it gave my skin a good scrub, while at the same time moisturising it. I unfortunately couldn’t get over the off Banana and sour Milk scent though, which is a shame, as if it smelt a little better, it would be one of my top five face masks.
Have you tried Lush Oatifix? What did you think? What face mask should I try next? Please let me know down below.
