Whenever i’m purchasing a new Cleanser, one of my main requirements is that it has to contain some kind of Active Ingredient like Ceramides, Hyaluronic Acid or Vitamin C, and that it’s also really affordable as i’m essentially massaging it into my Skin, waiting 30 seconds and then rinsing it off again. That’s why when I saw that Superdrug had released a Me+ Hyaluronic & Niacinamide Cleanser that claims to contain a blend of Ceramides, Hyaluronic Acid and Niacinamide to leave you with cleansed, soothed and hydrated Skin whilst I was watching one of Nadine Baggott’s YouTube Videos a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pop down to my local Superdrug store and pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Superdrug say about their Me+ Hyaluronic & Niacinamide Cleanser.

Our Me+ Hyaluronic & Niacinamide Cleanser has been formulated to gently remove Oil and impurities without stripping the moisture from your Skin. The blend of Ceramides and Hyaluronic Acid help to leave your Skin feeling smoother and softer.

Plus with a Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide and Ceramide complex, it also cleanses and hydrates too.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Ceteareth-20, Cetyl Alcohol, Niacinamide, Phenoxyethanol, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Xanthan Gum, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Citric Acid, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Pentylene Glycol, Sodium Hydroxide, Ceramide NP, Cholesterol, Ceramide AP, Phytosphingosine, Carbomer, and Ceramide EOP, I thought that it had a very strange deep and creamy yet ever so slightly musky Natural Yoghurt scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Pot of Natural Yoghurt.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Hyaluronic Acid Cleanser, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Cleansing Paste rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Hyaluronic Acid Cleanser.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Cleansing Paste into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Hyaluronic Acid Cleanser that spread really easily across my Face.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, less red and much healthier for at least half an hour after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a Pump Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Superdrug Me+ Hyaluronic & Niacinamide Cleanser an eight out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange deep and creamy yet ever so slightly musky Natural Yoghurt scent.
