I’ve noticed that my Skin has been looking and feeling a little bit dull and dehydrated lately. That’s why when I picked up the Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel Mask whilst I was out shopping a couple of weeks ago, I also managed to pick up the Peter Thomas Roth 24K Gold Mask. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.
Here’s what Peter Thomas Roth say about their 24K Gold Mask.
The ultimate luxurious anti-ageing treatment, this rich Mask is infused with Pure 24K Gold and Colloidal Gold to help improve the appearance of firmness and impart an opulent glow. Known from the time of Cleopatra to have powerful anti-ageing benefits, 24K Gold helps firm, lift, brighten and calm the appearance of Skin. Caffeine helps Skin appear firmer and tighter while Peridot, an exquisite Gemstone rich in Magnesium, re-energises and helps reduce the look of ageing and stress. Hyaluronic Acid and Glycerin deliver intense hydration for a more lifted appearance. This lavish, pampering treatment helps to reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles, leaving Skin looking silky smooth, firmer, radiant, revitalised and youthful.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained 24K Gold, Colloidal Gold, Caffeine, Hyaluronic Acid, Olivine Extract, and Mica, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly synthetic Vanilla scent to it that kind of reminded me of The Body Shop Vanilla Brulée Shower Gel.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Face Mask, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy, and was more like a thick and creamy Day Cream rather than a thin and creamy Face Mask.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy Day Cream into a thin and creamy Face Mask that set within a matter of seconds.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump and a little bit firmer, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and a little bit younger for hours after I had used it.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Tube with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Peter Thomas Roth 24K Gold Mask an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly synthetic Vanilla scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging. But I think that it’s probably better suited for someone who has more mature Skin than I do as I didn’t really see any Anti-Ageing results after I had been using it for a while, and that I really can’t justify spending nearly £70 on a Face Mask.
