But I Would Bring You Rings Of Gold | Lush x How To Train Your Dragon Range

I absolutely love any kind of Film or TV Show that contains Mythical Creatures, including Dragons, Sphinxes, and Unicorns. That’s why when I had heard that Lush had released an x How To Train Your Dragon range to celebrate the release of the live-action How To Train Your Dragon Movie, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Toothless Bath Bomb, and a Bottle of Monstrous Nightmare Shower Gel, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about both delicious smelling products.

The Lush Toothless Bath Bomb.

My other ride is a Night Fury.
While other places have Ponies or Parrots, we have Bath Bombs. Don’t believe the legends about Night Furies; this one’s surprisingly sweet, even with the Spearmint Plasma Blast. Part of our limited edition Lush x How To Train Your Dragon collab.

What’s in it for you?

  • A rare breed of Spearmint and creamy Banana-esque notes, complete with fast- and slow-fizz Foam and crackling Popping Candy.
  • There’s more to this guy than meets the Eye. We paint Toothless’s Pupils on using Lustre and a steady Hand in our Lush Factory in Poole in the Isle of Purbeck. (It’s 12 days north of Retirement and a few degrees south of Second-Home Hotspot, located solidly on the Meridian of The World’s Second Largest Natural Harbour.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Cornstarch, Spearmint Oil, Cream of Tartar, Water, Titanium Dioxide, Popping Candy, Talc, Dipropylene Glycol, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Alcohol Denat., PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Tin Oxide, Limonene, Fragrance, Colour 77499, Colour 42053, Colour 45410, Colour 47005, Colour 17200, Colour 42090:2, Colour 42090, Colour 77288, Colour 45410:2, Colour 77491, Colour 59040, and Colour 45350, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly sweet Spearmint scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a packet of Spearmint Polos.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful dark Black and Purple all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous bright Green and Pink all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful dark Black and Purple to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering Violet colour. I also really liked that once it had finally finished fizzing and hissing, that it released little pieces of Popping Candy all over the surface of the Water that made it sound like a Dragon was actually moving around in my Bath.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly sweet Spearmint for hours after I had used it.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Fair Trade Organic Aloe Vera Gel, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, Cinnamon Leaf Oil, Clove Leaf Oil, Lime Oil, Brazilian Orange Oil, Benzoin Resinoid, Dark Sumatran Patchouli Oil, Carrageenan Extract, Gardenia Extract, Cornstarch, Titanium Dioxide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Benzyl Benzoate, Cinnamal, Coumarin, Eugenol, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 14700, Colour 19140:1, Colour 19140, and Colour 77491, I thought that it had a delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly sweet Cinnamon and Cola scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had soaked some Cinnamon Sticks in a massive Jug of Supermarket Own Brand Cola.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly oily Shower Oil rather than a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly oily Shower Oil into a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly sweet Cinnamon and Cola for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Toothless Bath Bomb a nine out of ten, and the Lush Monstrous Nightmare Shower Gel a nine out of ten. I really liked the Lush Toothless Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly sweet Spearmint scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush Monstrous Nightmare Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly sweet Cinnamon and Cola scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had been a little bit cheaper, as the small Bottle of it set me back £10 for 120g..,
