One of my favourite Summer Candle scents definitely has to be Mango, as I absolutely love it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly floral scent. Unfortunately though, most Candle Brands tend to blend it with either Guava, Passionfruit, or Peach, which means that you barely even notice it when it’s burning. That’s why when I saw that Aldi had released a Scentcerity Sun Ripened Mango Reed Diffuser whilst I was doing my weekly Food Shop a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Peach, Jasmine, and Woods, I thought that it had a delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Mango scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of freshly squeezed Mango Juice on a boiling hot Summers Day. I could definitely smell the Mango, Tropical Fruits, Peach, and Jasmine, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Mango scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Amber, Green Notes, or Woods, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.
It’s scent throw.
I really liked it’s scent throw, as this managed to fill my entire Room with it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Mango scent for the first couple of weeks that I used it, and then after that it kind of blended into the background so that I only really noticed it once I had gone out of and had come back into the Room again, which I thought was perfect as whenever I use a Diffuser I find that it’s scent tends to get on my nerves after about three or four weeks of me using it..
It’s longevity.
It said that you were supposed to get up to six weeks of longevity out of this, but as I always turned my Reeds at least once a week, I easily got at least eight weeks of delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Mango scent out of it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall rectangular glossy Cardboard Box that I thought looked really luxurious and would be perfect to give to someone as a Gift. I also really liked that the Diffuser itself had a really substantial Wooden Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Bedside Cabinet.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Aldi Scentcerity Sun Ripened Mango Reed Diffuser a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Mango scent, it’s scent throw, it’s longevity, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Mango and that it was also a little bit easier to get hold of.
