Even though I absolutely love Candles, they are a lot of work, especially if you’re Visually Impaired, which is why I also love using some kind of a Reed Diffuser in my Room as it means that I can just leave it to do it’s thing and always have a delicious smelling Room. That’s why when the guys over at Hypothesis One very kindly asked me if I would like to try one of their Mandarin, Lime & Basil Intense Fragrance Diffusers, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Hypothesis One say about their Mandarin, Lime & Basil Intense Fragrance Diffuser.
Transport yourself to the Mediterranean with a refreshing Citrus fragrance. Notes of juicy Mandarin, Lemon and a nuance of Lime are accompanied by uplifting Basil and Thyme with a hint of Lemongrass and Spearmint. These all rest on a cool Moss base with accents of Labdanum and Vetivert.
Top notes.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Lemon, Spearmint, and Vetivert, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly herbal Mandarin and Lime scent to it that kind of reminded me of being sat outside underneath a Mandarin Tree on a boiling hot Summer’s Day. I could definitely smell the Mandarin, Lemon, Lime, Basil, Thyme, Spearmint, and Moss, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly herbal Mandarin and Lime scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Lemongrass, Labdanum, or Vetivert, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.
It’s scent throw.
I really liked it’s scent throw, as this managed to fill my entire Room with it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly herbal Mandarin and Lime scent for the first couple of weeks that I used it, and then after that it kind of blended into the background so that I only really noticed it once I had gone out of and had come back into the Room again, which I thought was perfect as whenever I use a Diffuser I find that it’s scent tends to get on my nerves after about three or four weeks of me using it..
It’s longevity.
It said that you were supposed to get up to three months of longevity out of this, but as I always turned my Reeds at least once a week, I easily got at least 13 weeks of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly herbal Mandarin and Lime scent out of it.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Hypothesis One Mandarin, Lime & Basil Intense Fragrance Diffuser a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly herbal Mandarin and Lime scent, it’s scent throw, and it’s longevity, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Mandarin and that it was also a little bit easier to get hold of.
