Autumn Is The Perfect Time For A Glass Of Cider | DW Home Candles Apple Cider Reed Diffuser

Even though i’m generally a fan of fresh and zesty scents, like Lemon, Lime, and Orange, whenever the temperature starts to get a little bit cooler I love nothing more than changing all of the Candles and Room Fragrances that i’ve been using to something a little bit more deeper and spicier. That’s why when I saw that DW Home Candles had released an Apple Cider Reed Diffuser whilst I was wandering around Homesense a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A short cylindrical clear glass Bottle full of some bright red liquid that has a gold glass neck and eight white wooden reeds coming out of the top of it next to a tall light grey resin owl ornament that has it’s wings behind it’s back on a white Wooden cabinet, on a white background.

Here’s what DW Home Candles say about their Apple Cider Reed Diffuser.

Warm Apple Cider swirled with Woodland Spices, the perfect autumnal treat.

  • Scented Reed Diffuser.
  • Includes 8 Reeds.
  • Lasts for up to 2 months.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Warm Apple Cider and Woodland Spices, I thought that it had a delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Mulled Cider scent to it that kind of reminded me of being sat by the side of a roaring Fire drinking a massive Glass of Mulled Cider on Bonfire Night.

It’s scent throw.

I really liked it’s scent throw, as this managed to fill my entire Room with it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Mulled Cider scent for the first couple of weeks that I had used it. Then after that it kind of blended into the background so that I only really noticed it once I had gone out of and had come back into the Room again, which I thought was perfect as whenever I use a Diffuser I find that it’s scent tends to get on my nerves after about three or four weeks of me using it.

It’s longevity.

It said that you were supposed to get up to two months of longevity out of this, but as I always turned my Reeds at least once a week, I easily got at least nine weeks of delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Mulled Cider scent out of it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the DW Home Candles Apple Cider Reed Diffuser a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Mulled Cider scent, it’s scent throw, and it’s longevity, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Apple and that it was also a little bit easier to get hold of.
