My Soft & Healthy Skin Will Be Back | Ani Skincare Rose And Geranium Face Oil

Whenever my Skin is feeling a little bit on the dry side, one of the first things that I do, apart from checking to see if I can figure out what products are causing my dryness, definitely has to be to introduce some kind of Facial Oil into my Skincare Routine. That’s why when I saw that Latest In Beauty had released a Beauty Bible Awards Edit 2023 that contained a Bottle of Ani Skincare Rose and Geranium Face Oil that claims to leave you with silky soft, soothed and nourished Skin last year, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Ani Skincare say about their Rose & Geranium Face Oil.

A nourishing, intense Face Oil that nourishes and regenerates Skin, leaving you with a healthy glow, packed full of Antioxidants to fight off daily ravages and the signs of ageing.

Our award winning Rose and Geranium Face Oil regulates and rebalances the natural Oils of your Skin, whilst calming and nourishing. This particular Facial Oil combines the Pure Essential Oils of Geranium, Bergamot, Lavender and Rose Absolute to calm and nurture your Skin. The enriching base Oils, which include Rosehip, Calendula and Evening Primrose, are the most beneficial and abundant in Antioxidants and Vitamins, nurturing and regenerating your Skin, fighting off the daily ravages of time and battling the signs of ageing, leaving you with a bright, healthy glow.

Roses have been used for generations in Skincare Products. With their natural anti-inflammatory and Scar reducing properties, Rose Oil reduces redness and calms the Skin. Rose Extracts have high Vitamin C levels and help to stimulate Collagen. They also have high levels of Vitamin E so are very moisturising.

According to Deepak Chopra, “The Sugars and natural Oils found in Rose Petals trap moisture into your Skin, making your Skin look smoother and softer—just like the beautiful Rose Petals themselves.”

Roses are also claimed to calm Rosacea and have been used to alleviate Sun Burn.

Geranium Oil was used by the Egyptians for ‘beautiful and radiant Skin’ and is claimed to balance Hormones, relieve Stress, reduce Depression, minimise inflammation, improve circulation, alleviate the effects of Menopause, and help Dental Health.

How to use.

Press a few drops of our Rose and Geranium Face Oil into clean Skin, relax and breathe deeply, enjoying the beautiful aroma of Rose and Geranium, as the Oil absorbs into your delighted Skin.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Apricot Kernel Oil, Rosehip Oil, Peach Kernel Oil, Avocado Oil, Olive Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Tocopherol Acetate, Geranium Rose Oil, Provence Rose Absolute, Bergamot Oil, and Lavender Oil, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly musky Rose and Geranium scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured some Rosewater over a massive Pile of Rose and Geranium Petals.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Face oil, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly balmy Body Oil rather than a thin and oily yet ever so slightly watery Facial Oil.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly balmy Body Oil into a thin and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Facial Oil that sank into my Skin within a matter of minutes.

It’s results.

I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I however wasn’t really a massive fan of that it ever so slightly managed to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes though, but given that it was a Natural Face Oil that contained a blend of Essential Oils, that was kind of to be expected.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short square Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Ani Skincare Rose and Geranium Face Oil an eight out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly musky Rose and Geranium scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of that it managed to ever so slightly irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.
