The Plumping Effects Of Collagen | Aldi Lacura Healthy Glow Acacia Collagen Toner & Healthy Glow Plumping Serum

I absolutely love using some kind of Plumping Serum in my Skincare Routine, as not only does it leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, plump and intensely hydrated, but it also leaves it looking extremely glowing and much healthier too. That’s why when I saw that Aldi had released a Healthy Glow Acacia Collagen Toner and a Healthy Glow Plumping Serum whilst I was doing my weekly Food Shop a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick them both up. Well i’ve been using them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Aldi say about both amazing products.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Witch Hazel Water, Propylene Glycol, Glycereth-26, Coconut Water, Phenoxyethanol, Panthenol, Peg40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, PPG-26-Buteth-26, Citric Acid, Fragrance, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Glycerin, Acacia Seyal Gum, Butylene Glycol, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Bladder Wrack Seaweed Extract, Irish Moss Extract, Dead Sea Salt, Sodium Hydroxide, and Tetrapeptide-21, I thought that it had a very fresh and watery yet ever so slightly floral Seaweed scent to it that kind of reminded me of a massive Jug of Filtered Water.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Toner, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Micellar Water rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Toner.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had poured a little bit of it on to a Cotton Wool Round and had started to swipe it across my Face, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Micellar Water into a thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Toner that set within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, bouncy, plump, purified and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clearer and much healthier for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Polysorbate 20, Phenoxyethanol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Acacia Seyal Gum Extract, Allantoin, Ethylhexylglycerin, Fragrance, Tetrasodium Glutanate PEG-35 Castor Oil, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Hydroxide, Horse Chestnut Seed Extract, Alcohol Denat, Poloxamer 235, Retinol, Chamomile Flower Extract, Tocopherol, Sodium Ascorbate, EGCG, Calcium Pantothenate, Inositol, Limoleic Acid, Retinyl Palmitate, BHT, Sodium Benzoate, Disodium EDTA, Biotin, BHA, and Tetrapeptide-21, I thought that it had a very fresh and watery yet ever so slightly floral Seaweed scent to it that kind of reminded me of a massive Jug of Filtered Water.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Plumping Serum, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Hyaluronic Acid Serum rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Plumping Serum.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Hyaluronic Acid Serum into a thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Plumping Serum that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, plump, purified and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clearer and much healthier for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a short cylindrical clear Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, I found that it’s Lid was very hard to open.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Aldi Lacura Healthy Glow Acacia Collagen Toner a nine out of ten, and the Aldi Lacura Healthy Glow Plumping Serum a nine out of ten. I really liked the Aldi Lacura Healthy Glow Acacia Collagen Toner, as I absolutely loved it’s very fresh and watery yet ever so slightly floral Seaweed scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Aldi Lacura Healthy Glow Plumping Serum, as I absolutely loved it’s very fresh and watery yet ever so slightly floral Seaweed scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had come in a Bottle with a Pump Lid so that it was a little bit easier to use.
