I absolutely love discovering new and interesting Beard Oils, as I really like having a silky soft, hydrated and delicious smelling Beard, plus with me still wearing a Face Covering wherever I go, I love that I can smell my Beard all day long too. That’s why when I saw that Arthur J Hawke had released a Sunset Boulevard Beard Oil whilst I was scrolling through Instagram a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Apricot Kernel Oil, Hazelnut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Castor Oil, Argan Oil, Jojoba Oil, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a very strange deep and woody yet ever so slightly fruity Red Wine scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had accidentally spilt some Red Wine on some very cheap Laminate Flooring.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Beard Oil, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Oil rather than a thick and oily yet ever so slightly balmy Beard Oil.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Beard, it turned from an incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Oil into a thin and oily yet ever so slightly balmy Beard Oil that spread really easily through my Beard.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Beard and the Skin underneath and around it feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking a lot shinier, much healthier and smelling of very strange deep and woody yet ever so slightly fruity Red Wine for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid and a Childproof Lock that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Arthur J Hawke Sunset Boulevard Beard Oil a seven out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly balmy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange deep and woody yet ever so slightly fruity Red Wine scent.
