I absolutely love using an Overnight Face Mask, especially one that contains some kind of Active Ingredient like Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, or Vitamin C, as I really like that I can slap it on and totally forget about it until I wake up. That’s why when I saw that Beauty Bay had released a The Breakout Box that contained a Tube of their By Beauty Bay 2% BHA Overnight Face Mask with Salicylic Acid and Azelaic Acid whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Glycerin, Coco-Caprylate, Salicylic Acid, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Blueberry Fruit Extract, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, Isohexadecane, Maltodextrin, Polyacrylate-13, Sugar Cane Extract, Polyisobutene, Allantoin, Chlorphenesin, Orange Fruit Extract, Lemon Fruit Extract, Polysorbate 60, Butylene Glycol, Acacia Senegal Gum, Sorbitan Isostearate, Xanthan Gum, Sugar Maple Extract, Panthenol, Polysorbate 20, Azelaic Acid, Blackberry Leaf Extract, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Lecithin, Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Glucosamine, Sodium Hydroxide, and Citric Acid, I thought that it had a very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly chemical Milk scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you wash some Plastic Milk Cartons out to put in the Recycling Bin.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called an Overnight Face Mask, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Night Cream rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Overnight Face Mask.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little it of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Night Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Overnight Face Mask that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, matte, plump, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short conical Plastic Tube with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the By Beauty Bay 2% BHA Overnight Face Mask with Salicylic Acid and Azelaic Acid a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly chemical Milk scent.
