When I had a Chemical Burn underneath my Right Eye at the beginning of the year, one of the things that I really struggled with was finding products that would deeply cleanse, soothe and hydrate my Skin without making it any worse. That’s why when I saw that Biore had released a Rose Quartz + Charcoal Stress Relief Clay Mask that claims to deeply cleanse and draw out impurities whilst I was scrolling through Superdrug’s Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

How to use.
1. Wet Your Face. Apply an even layer to your Face, avoiding the Eye and Mouth areas.
2. Wait for 10 to 15 minutes for the Mask to dry.
3. Moisten the Mask with Warm Water and work into a lather. Rinse thoroughly. If needed, use a Washcloth. Use 2 to 3 times per week.
It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Kaolin, Glycerin, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Glycol Distearate, Illite, Montmorillonite, Peg-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cetyl Alcohol, Peg-12 Dimethicone, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Xanthan Gum, Mica, Fragrance, Sodium Hydroxide, Benzophenone-4, Quartz, Charcoal Powder, Salicylic Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Red 4, and Titanium Dioxide, I thought that it had a very strange sweet and soapy yet ever so slightly floral Rose scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crumbled up some extremely cheap Rose scented Soap.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Clay Mask, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Cream Face Mask rather than a thick and balmy yet ever so slightly creamy Clay Mask.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Cream Face Mask into a thin and balmy yet ever so slightly creamy Clay Mask that set within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear and much healthier for at least 24 hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a tall rectangular Plastic Pouch with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, with it being so thick and creamy I unfortunately found that a lot of the product managed to get stuck at the bottom of it’s Pouch.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Biore Rose Quartz + Charcoal Stress Relief Clay Mask an eight out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange sweet and soapy yet ever so slightly floral Rose scent, or it’s very frustrating packaging as I personally think that most Clay Masks should come in either a Jar, a Tub, or a Tube.
