No matter what I do, I never manage to get enough sleep, which means that i’m always on the lookout for anything that will disguise the fact that I haven’t slept properly and also make me look more awake throughout the day. That’s why when I saw that Superdrug had released a Me+ Brightening Caffeine Eye Cream that claims to contain some Light Reflecting Particles to instantly brighten your Under Eye Area whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Superdrug say about their Me+ Brightening Caffeine Eye Cream.
This fast absorbing Eye Cream is specially formulated with 0.55% Caffeine to help depuff the Eye Area and some light reflecting Particles to instantly brighten your Under Eyes.
- Brightening.
- With Peptide and 0.55% Caffeine.
- Reduces the appearance of Dark Circles.
It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Propylene Glycol, Shea Butter, Isopropyl Myristate, Glyceryl Stearate, Dimethicone, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Caffeine, Stearyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Arabian Coffee Seed Extract, Betaine, Stearic Acid, Caprylyl Glycol, Carbomer, Glycerin, Xanthan Gum, Butylene Glycol, Lecithin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Hydroxide, and Tetrapeptide- 21, I thought that it had a very subtile sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Hyaluronic Acid scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Tub of Hyaluronic Acid Moisturiser.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called an Eye Cream, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Night Cream rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Eye Cream.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Under Eyes, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Night Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Eye Cream that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Under Eyes feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left them looking extremely glowing, radiant, brighter and much healthier for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short conical Plastic Tube with a Nozzle Applicator and a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Superdrug Me+ Brightening Caffeine Eye Cream an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s very subtile sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Hyaluronic Acid scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had also contained some other kinds of Peptides so that it could have given some more long-term effects to my Skin.
