With me using Retinal in my Nighttime Skincare Routine as well as the Weather not being able to make up it’s Mind, my Skin has become quite dry, slightly irritated and dehydrated lately, which means that i’ve been on the lookout for anything that will return it to it’s usually incredibly silky soft, calm and hydrated-feeling former self,. That’s why when I saw that Cult Beauty had released a The Skindulgent Edit that contained a Jar of the Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte’s Magic Water Cream that claims to leave you with silky soft, calm and hydrated Skin whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of months ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

How to use.
, massage a pea-sized amount of Charlotte’s Magic Water Cream into Skin as part of your Morning Skincare Routine.
It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Shea Butter, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Squalane, Propanediol, Pentylene Glycol, 1,2-hexanediol, Glyceryl Glucoside, Niacinamide, Mannitol, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Carbomer, Camellia Seed Oil, Dog Rose Fruit Oil, Caprylyl Glycol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Sunflower Seed Oil, Sodium Gluconate, Sodium Hydroxide, Tocopherol, Beta-glucan, Sodium Hyaluronate, Lemon Myrtle Leaf Extract, Cranberry Fruit Extract, Red Frangipani Flower Extract, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Acetyl Tetrapeptide-11, Citric Acid, Acetyl Tetrapeptide-9, Potassium Sorbate, and Sodium Benzoat, I thought that it had a very subtile fresh and floral yet ever so slightly fruity Cranberry scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had diluted some freshly squeezed Cranberry Juice in a massive Jug of Filtered Water.
It’s consistency.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Water Cream, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Jelly Cleanser rather than a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Water Cream.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Jelly Cleanser into a thin and watery yet ever so slightly creamy Gel-Cream Moisturiser that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, calm, refreshed, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, a little bit younger and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short Bevelled Glass Jar with a metallic screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte’s Magic Water Cream an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s very subtile fresh and floral yet ever so slightly fruity Cranberry scent, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy consistency. I also just can’t justify spending nearly £80 on a Gel-Cream Moisturiser, as I think that there are a lot of other Gel-Cream Moisturisers currently on the Market that do a similar job for a lot less Money.
