You Shouldn’t Really Drink That Much Water Before Bed Y’know | Laneige Water Sleeping Mask

I absolutely love any kind of Japanese or Korean Face Mask, especially if it’s some kind of an Overnight Face Mask, as I adore that I can just whack it on and leave it to work it’s magic whilst I Sleep. That’s why when I saw that LookFantastic had released a The K-Beauty Edit that contained a Tub of the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask that claims to leave you with silky soft, calm and hydrated Skin whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A short cylindrical gradient bright blue and dark blue plastic tub full of some creamy bright blue liquid with a bright blue plastic lid that has Laneige Water Sleeping Mask written in bright white writing on it, on a white background.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Trehalose, Methyl Trimethicone, 1,2-hexanediol, Squalane, Phenyl Trimethicone, Pca Dimethicone, Caprylyl Methicone, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/vp Copolymer, Carbomer, Tromethamine, Lactobacillus Ferment Lysate, Niacinamide, Glyceryl Caprylate, Acrylates/c10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Propanediol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Malachite Extract, Xylitylglucoside, Propylene Glycol, Anhydroxylitol, Fragrance, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Metaphosphate, Xylitol, Raffinose, Evening Primrose Oil, Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate, Tryptophan, Lactobacillus Ferment, Beta-glucan, Limonene, Linalool, Acrylates/stearyl Methacrylate Copolymer, Snow Mushroom Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Trimetaphosphate, Xanthan Gum, Polyglutamic Acid, Ceramide Np, and Tocopherol, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Lemon and Baby Powder scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured some Lemon Juice over a massive Pile of Baby Powder.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Sleeping Mask, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly oily Cleansing Gel rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Overnight Face Mask.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly oily Cleansing Gel into a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Gel Face Mask that set within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft ,smooth, soothed, calm, refreshed, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, a little bit younger and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Lemon and Baby Powder scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was available in a much smaller Tub, as even if you use it between two and three times a week, it will take you at least six to eight months to finish it.
