Tell Me, Doctor. Where Are We Going This Time? | Lush X Back To The Future Range

Even though they’re a little bit controversial, I do actually quite like all of the Collaboration rages that Lush have been releasing lately, because as someone who grew up in the 90s, they make me feel really nostalgic. That’s why when I had heard that they had released an x Back To The Future range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up an OUTATIME Bath Bomb, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A large bright silver angular DeLorean car shaped bath bomb that has some detailed windows, a tail fin, and shimmering silver lustre all over it, on a white background.

Here’s what Lush say about their OUTATIME Bath Bomb.

You built a Time Machine… Out of a Bath Bomb?
When this baby hits a Tub full of Hot Water … you’re gonna see some serious shi-mmer. Put the Pedal to the Metal as our Lush x Back To The Future Bath Bomb blazes through the bath in exploding trails of colour, charged with enough Popping Candy to knock your Body Warmer off.

What’s in it for you?

  • Baths are what you make of them, so make it a good one with an electric blend of Orange and Lemon Oil for a spark of energy to leave you feeling far from heavy.
  • If you’re gonna build a Time Machine out of a Bath Bomb, why not do it in style? We’ve used 3D Printers to achieve Doc levels of detail, Hand-Sprayed with a Light Reflecting Shimmer for that Stainless Steel finish.

Leaving the World Lusher than we found it.

Nothing takes the shine off our beautiful Lustres! They’re Plastic-Free.
This Product needs no Packaging and no introduction. It will arrive Packaging-Free and proud in your Parcel because we want to strip back on Unnecessary Waste.

How to use.

How to store.

Store this Bath Bomb somewhere cool and dry.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Alcohol Denat, Cornstarch, Lemon Oil, Bergamot Oil, Popping Candy, Corn Protein, Water, Titanium Dioxide, Dipropylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Tin Oxide, Citral, Limonene, Fragrance, Colour 77499, Colour 42090, Colour 45410:1, and Colour 45410, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly smoky Lemon scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had accidentally used a Spoon that had recently been used to stir some Coffee to scoop up some Lemon Curd.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright White Foam and bright Purple all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous bright Blue and Silver Lustre all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended together to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering Pastel Purple colour. I also really liked that once it had finally finished fizzing and hissing, that it released lots of little pieces of Popping Candy all over the surface of the Water that made it sound like a Car was actually revving in my Bath.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly smokey Lemon for hours after I had used it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush OUTATIME Bath Bomb a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly smokey Lemon scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it hadn’t contained so much Lustre as I had to rinse myself off after I had used it.
