With my Skin currently going through it’s indecisive stage of the year, where it can’t decide whether it’s going to be dry or oily, i’m constantly on the look out for anything that will hydrate and moisturise the dry parts of my Face as well as also helping to control any Oil. That’s why when I saw that Latest in Beauty had released a Blemish & Breakout Box that contained a Tube of the Dr. Organic Skin Clear Oil Control Moisturiser that claims to leave you with silky soft, calm and clearer-looking Skin whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Dr. Organic say about their Skin Clear Oil Control Moisturiser.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Aloe Vera leaf juice powder, Water, Coco-Caprylate, Cetearyl alcohol, Alcohol denat., Isopropyl palmitate, Glyceryl stearate, Cetearyl glucoside, Glycerin, Grapefruit Seed Extract, Salicylic acid, Tea tree leaf oil, Cucumber fruit extract, Chamomile flower extract, Purple Coneflower extract, Bilberry extract, Sugar cane extract, Orange fruit extract, Lemon fruit extract, Sugar maple extract, Willow bark extract, Dehydroxanthan gum, Fragrance, Glyceryl caprylate, Hydroxyacetophenone, Sodium stearoyl glutamate, Sodium hydroxide, Sodium phytate, Citric acid, Sodium benzoate, Potassium sorbate, Limonene, Citral, Linalool, and Geraniol, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fruity Grapefruit scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you blend up a perfectly ripened Grapefruit to make a Smoothie.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Moisturiser, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly oily Cleansing Gel rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Moisturiser.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly oily Cleansing Gel into a thick and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Moisturiser that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, calm, soothed, matte, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear, a little bit brighter and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.
It’s packaging.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a short conical Plastic Tube with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, because of it’s incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly oily consistency, I found it very difficult to squeeze some of it out of it’s Tube.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Dr. Organic Skin Clear Oil Control Moisturiser a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fruity Grapefruit scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had come in some kind of a Bottle with a Pump Lid or in a Tub with a screw top Lid so that it was a little bit easier to use.
