I absolutely love it whenever my Skin feels soft and Blemish free but also looks as radiant as it possibly can. That’s why when the guys over at Elizabeth’s Daughter very kindly asked me if I would like to try their The Purifying Mask, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Elizabeth’s Daughter say about their The Purifying Mask.
A deep cleansing Mask to help purify Skin and eliminate Toxins. Lime Seed Oil contains Omegas 3, 6 and 9 which help support Tissue regeneration, condition the Skin and are particularly effective on Inflamed Skin. Amazonian White Clay is rich in Mineral Salts helping to eliminate Toxins while Plant Extracts from Great Burdock and Erysimum have seboregulating and antiseptic properties to help rebalance Skin.
It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent ,as even though it contained Alcohol Denat, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Water, Great Burdock Root Extract, Arginine, Oat Kernel Flour, Butylene Glycol, Bees Wax, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceterayl Glucoside, Citric Acid, Citronellol, Lime Seed Oil, Dipropylene Glycol, Disodium EDTA, EthylHexylglycerin, Strawberry Fruit Extract, Glycerin, Glycolic Acid, Hexyl Cinnamal, Hydroxycitronellal, Kaolin, Limonene, Linalool, Myristyl Myristate, Waterlily Flower Extract, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, PVP, Sclerotium Gum, Shea Butteramidopropyltrimonium Chloride, Hedge Mushroom Extract, Sodium Benzoate, Sorbic Acid, and Zinc Pca, I thought that it had a very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly nutty scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent of some out of date Peanut Butter.
It’s consistency.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Purifying Mask, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gloopy yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly thick and gloopy yet ever so slightly creamy Styling Paste rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Purifying Mask.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gloopy yet ever so slightly creamy Styling Paste into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Purifying Mask that set within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, matte and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and much clearer for at least 24 hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall conical Plastic Tube with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Elizabeth’s Daughter The Purifying Mask a seven out of ten. I absolutely loved what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly nutty scent or it’s thick and gloopy yet ever so slightly creamy consistency.
