Casting A Spell Over My Blemished Skin | Witch Purifying Clearing Sheet Mask

I don’t know if it’s because of all of the really warm Weather that we’ve been having lately, or because i’ve been wearing a Mask for a lot longer than I usually would, but my Skin has suddenly become incredibly dry and clogged lately. That’s why when I saw that Witch had released a Purifying Clearing Sheet Mask that claims to leave you with cleansed, purified and clearer looking Skin whilst I was scrolling through Superdrug’s Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well I finally used it the other night, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A tall rectangular light blue plastic pouch that has Witch Purifying Clearing Sheet Mask written in bold white writing and a picture of a light green stripe on it, on a white background.

Here’s what Witch say about their Purifying Clearing Sheet Mask.

Our Purifying Clearing Sheet Mask deeply cleanses and helps clear Skin without drying it out so Skin is left feeling moisturised. Combining Witch Hazel and Red Clay, it helps to remove impurities and to refine Pores for a smooth and matte complexion. The Sheet is made from 100% Bamboo Fibre and is 100% biodegradable. The Sachet is also deliberately narrow to reduce how much packaging is used. Leave on for fifteen minutes and relax.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Sodium PCA, Propanediol, Illite, Phenoxyethanol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Citrate, Butylene Glycol, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Fragrance, citric Acid, Sodium Dilauramidoglutamide Lysine, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Apple Peel Extract, Witch Hazel Leaf Extract, Potassium Sorbate, and Sodium Benzoate, I thought that it had a very light and subtile yet ever so slightly medicinal Witch Hazel scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a Bottle of Witch Hazel Oil.

It’s material.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s material, as even though this was made out of an incredibly thick Bamboo Microfibre Tissue that felt incredibly soft against my Skin, I unfortunately found that it had managed to rip quite a lot when I had removed it from it’s packaging, especially around the Forehead, Sideburn and Chin areas.

It’s size.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s size, as even though this managed to fit me perfectly around the Nose and Lip areas, I found that I had to bunch it up quite a lot around the Eye area to make it properly fit my Face.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had removed it from it’s packaging and had smoothed it across my Face, it started to release lots of thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Serum that set within a matter of seconds and securely stuck the Bamboo Microfibre Tissue to my Face so that I could move around without worrying that it was going to fall off.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, matte, purified and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clearer and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a very thick and secure Plastic Pouch that as well as keeping the Mask really fresh until I was ready to use it, also meant that none of it’s Serum leaked anywhere.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Witch Purifying Clearing Sheet Mask a seven out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s very light and subtile yet ever so slightly medicinal Witch Hazel scent, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of that it’s material managed to rip so much when I had removed it from it’s packaging, and that I also had to bunch it up quite a lot around the Eye area to make it properly fit my Face.
