This year one of my goals is to try and be a little bit more eco-friendly, and luckily i’m actually managing to stick to it, so I thought that I would tell you five of the ways that i’m trying to be more Eco-Friendly.
Anyway, that’s enough of me rambling, here’s five ways that i’m trying to be more eco-friendly.

1. Not using Sheet Masks anymore.
I absolutely love relaxing with a good Sheet Mask, but as the material that they’re made out of is essentially the same as a Face Wipe, they’re obviously not that great for the Planet. Luckily though, i’ve started using the Daiso Japan Silicon Sheet Mask Cover, as even though it’s technically meant to be used over the top of a Sheet Mask, I can smother my Face in one of my favourite Face Masks or Facial Oils and instantly turn whatever i’m using into a Sheet Mask.

2. Not using Disposable Cotton Wool Rounds anymore.
I didn’t realise just how many Cotton Wool Rounds I used on a weekly basis, as with me Cleansing, Toning and doing the rest of my Skincare Routine, I end up using quite a lot of them. Luckily though, the Nuosen Reusable Make Up Remover Pads that i’ve started using are not only much better for the Planet, but they’re also a lot thicker and softer so I actually enjoy using them more than disposable Cotton Wool Rounds.

3. Using Solid Products.
I didn’t used to be a massive fan of things like Solid Cleansers, Moisturisers or Shampoo & Conditioner Bars as I didn’t really think that they worked as well as their liquid counterparts, but luckily i’ve grown to really like them and I now use them all the time. Now I haven’t, and probably will never switch my entire Skincare Routine to Solid products, but using a few in my Routine is a small step that I can do.

4. Using a Reusable Coffee Cup.
I love grabbing a nice hot cup of Tea or Hot Chocolate whilst i’m out and about, but after I had read a post all about how many disposable Coffee Cups are thrown away each day I just couldn’t justify drinking something out of a disposable Coffee Cup. Luckily though, Reco had sent me one of their rCUP, The Recycled, Reusable Coffee Cup the same day that I had read the post and i’ve been using it ever since.

5. Shopping more responsibly.
Now this one has been a little bit trickier than the rest, as I usually buy the things that interest me and stupidly don’t think about where something has been sourced from. I’m now trying my hardest to research everything that I buy though, and try and make sure that the company that i’m buying something from has sourced the ingredients that they use and the products that they sell responsibly.
There’s a lot more ways that i’m trying to be more Eco-Friendly, but I thought that I would just tell you five of them.
