I absolutely love a Scrub Mask that also contains some kind of a resurfacing Acid, because as well as the Mask acting as a physical Exfoliant when I take it off, the resurfacing Acid also gives my Skin an extra little bit of exfoliation to make it look and feel it’s best. That’s why when I saw that Sanctuary Spa had released a Diamond Dust Refining Scrub Face Mask that contains both Diamond Powder and Lactic Acid whilst I was out Shopping a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Sanctuary Spa say about their Diamond Dust Refining Scrub Face Mask.
A Pink Clay Mask with purifying French Rose clay, refining Pink Diamond Dust and illuminating Rose Quartz Extract for sparkling and smooth Skin. Leave on for up to fifteen minutes to enjoy the results of this powerful Pore Purifying Face Mask Treatment.
How to use.
1. Smooth over clean, dry Skin and leave on for up to fifteen minutes.
2. Rinse with Warm Water, polishing away as you rinse to reveal sparkling, clean Skin that looks refreshed and feels super soft and smooth.
3. Use once or twice a week.
It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Sweet Almond Oil, Cocoa Seed Butter, Glycerin, Jojoba Seed Oil, Beeswax, Diatomaceous Earth, Mica, Papaya Fruit Extract, Hydrolysed Hyaluronic Acid, Apple Geranium Oil, Provence Rose Flower Extract, Xanthan Gum, Diamond Powder, Lactic Acid, and Quartz Powder, I thought that it had a very strange deep and floral yet ever so slightly medicinal Rose scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured some Tea Tree Oil over a pile of dead Rose Petals.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Refining Scrub Mask, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Night Cream rather than a thick and gritty Refining Scrub Mask.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Night Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly runny Face Mask with very tiny pieces of grit in it that set within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely clear, glowing and radiant for at least 24 hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall conical Plastic Tube with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Sanctuary Spa Diamond Dust Refining Scrub Face Mask an eight out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange deep and floral yet ever so slightly medicinal Rose scent. I also would have liked it to have been a little bit more gritty, especially given that it was called a Refining Scrub Face Mask and contained both Diamond Powder and Quartz Powder.
